Amity University Gurgaon course admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main/ National or state-level Engineering entrance exam/ AMCAT score. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths can also apply for BTech Internet of Things.

To be eligible to appear for the JEE Main exam, students need to have at least 75% marks in Class 12 with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects for BTech courses, PCM for BArch and Maths for BPlan. There is no age limit to apply for the JEE Main; however, to get admission in NITs, IITs and CFTIs, students need a valid JEE Main rank with 75% marks in Class 12.

There are no minimum or maximum percentage requirements to take JEE Main. To get admitted to NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, candidates must have 75% in class 12 in addition to a valid JEE Main rank.  
The candidate must have passed class 12.
For Paper 1 (BTech), candidates must have Math and Physics as required subjects in class 12.
