No placement for painting students

Placements: For BFA (painting) there are no placement opportunities for students. They simply deny that only the applied arts students will get placements. At the time of choosing specialisation they tell you that if you choose painting as your major there's no job opportunity/placement given by them.

Infrastructure: The facilities are fine. We have our studio, Wi-Fi not much to brag about. It is more like a school classroom environment with no such freedom to do what you like. No outside sketch sessions. 9-5 classes with such strict rules of treats of giving no attendance. I don't stay in the hostel so I have no idea about it.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and give honest advice and help you do good in your field as much as you can. Course curriculum is somewhat fine too. Although about exams, I think they pass everyone. I have seen horrible drawings and paintings in the exam hall and everyone almost passes.

Other: I chose this course as I wanted to make a career in painting. I don't regret it because I love what I chose to do but the no placement and opportunities make it a little difficult to see the future as table one. We have an annual exhibition where some of our works get displayed so it's one nice thing that happens but there's too much partiality and biasness towards favourite students.

It is not worth it if you are doing a BFA at our college.

Placements: All BFA students hardly get selected and placed in interviews, as most seats are reserved for MFA students. Top recruiting companies do not visit our campus and there is no growth.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. Computers are missing the essential software that we are required to train in. The lab technicians are know-it-alls who are too proud of themselves. They could do so much better considering how much they charge.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good, and some are just underqualified. There is no scope for learning, and you just have to know everything beforehand, or else you won't survive. Most faculty members are rude. They don't understand our problems and are unable to solve most of them.

Other: Our college students are entitled and rude. The campus crowd is filled with rich kids who mostly have a lot of money to throw around.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Adidas, Fitbit, Google, etc. Internships are a very important feature in our curriculum as they provide us with a chance to explore various fields. Almost 90% of students got placed in our college.

Infrastructure: Our college has large classrooms with air conditioning and huge windows. They are well-equipped with boards, projectors, mics, etc. Our college has a two-floor library, which is very good and huge. It is air-conditioned. Our college has many canteens. H block is the biggest in our college. The food served in our college is good and affordable. Our college has a clinic, an ambulance, nurses, and doctors. A large sports ground is available in our college to play badminton, tennis, basketball, cricket, etc. Our college has a swimming pool.

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and professional. They clear all our concepts. They provide us with assignments, PPTS, notes, and activities to make us understand better. They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult and depend on every subject.

Placements: One can find job as long as he's worthy enough of the job, University try it's best to provide one with the job opportunity, and tries it's best to bring in the best companies related to the particular field of the students, package can ab up to 1lac.

Infrastructure: Internet is provided to the students in the campus, medical facilities are available, sports and games are one of the best feature of the university, computer lab are provided to the students with the software they need to work on, making it easier to work.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are Available all the time for students, mentor are provided to the students so they can discuss their point of view and can excel in their field, PPT, notes are provided to the students, so that they can concentrate on study.

Other: I like art so I decided to make it my profession, fest and events are both national and international as the university is spread around the globe.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Mostly, many of the students got placed from our college. Students can do internships only outside the college according to their choice. Various companies visit our college for placements, but only students who have high ranks in their academics get the opportunity to get placed in a good company.

Infrastructure: Our campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and fully air-conditioned. Buildings are well managed. There is also a huge central library, which is for all students of any course. The quality of the food served in the mess is just moderate.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are passed out from very good universities, but there are no canvases in our classrooms. As we are BFA students, the basic need for us is canvas which we don't have in enough number.

Other: The best thing about our course is there are the best faculty members for us, and they are knowledgeable. There is no scholarship system. However, there will be Amity Youth fest at the end of the year.

Placements are good in 2015.

Placements: The placements of the college are excellent in every aspect. The companies recognise the potential of students and guide the students accordingly. There is a separate department to guide and help students. This helps the students be aware.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Free Wi-Fi facility is also available for the students to have maximum advantage of prescribed subjects. The classrooms are big. The rooms are air-conditioned, and there is proper ventilation. Labs are big enough.

Faculty: The faculty members in this college are really very helpful and caring. The teachers are well educated and well experienced. The teachers provide notes and the study material. The projector screen is used to show presentation to students, and even the assessments are held.

Other: The surroundings of the campus are excellent.

It is the best college in Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: Not many students from my course were placed. Maximum of the students placed on their own and some are pursuing Masters. Placements were provided to the students of other courses. The college provided internships to the students at the end of 2nd year. The lowest stipend offered to the students during an internship was Rs. 500, and the highest stipend offered was Rs. 2,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. A lot of canteens are present on the campus. Wi-Fi facility is available for all the students. Hostel facility is also provided to the students. A lot of computer labs are available to the students. There were no issues related to the infrastructure during my tenure at the college.

Faculty: The faculty are highly knowledgeable and qualified. They use powerpoint presentations to teach students in the class. Notes related to every chapter are provided. Industry exposure was provided. The course curriculum is very useful. Teachers are cooperative during the project work of students, and they helped us in preparing sheets.

Awesome place to study and to make your future bright.

Placements: Placements here are quite good. 80% students were placed from my batch. In the year 2014, the placements were around 76% and we see a rise in the placements percentage. The highest package offered was 5.65 lacs and lowest was 2.77 lacs. Different roles were offered to students according to their qualification.

Infrastructure: Amity university infrastructure is brilliant and eye-catching. From Wi-Fi to smart classes, everything is there. There are also well-furnished classrooms, labs etc. The canteen is awesome and a good quality of food is served. Hostel rooms are also very well-maintained.

Faculty: The faculty members here are well-trained. They are have done PG and PhD. The teaching skills are great and they are very much knowledgeable. For every 20 students, there is 1 teacher hence the ratio is 1:20. Industry exposure is there, and the course cirriculum was very much helpful in my tenure with to the point syllabus and teaching methods helping me to excel.

Other: Overall, Amity University is a great place to study. You will get the environment that any college-going student desires about. The faculty members and infrastructure are all superb. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Every year, sports events were held, and many students participate in the event.
