B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2028

Our campus is worth for money, small, and well-managed.
Placements: 70-80% of students got placed. Average package is approximately 6 LPA - 7 LPA. I don't know exactly about companies. Approximately 80-90% of students got internships. Top roles are offered. I don't know but toppers for moderately satisfied with the result but as college is new so its still exploring.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is best. Classrooms and campus have AC and are clean. I am not a hostel one but hostel mates always share positive reviews about it. But its too strict on the timings and food order. Mess is overall 2 rated not recommended from my side but other food options are also available.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. qualified, and some are from IIT too. College completely focuses on making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, and pass percentage is approximately 80%. In my course, maximum students faced problems in Maths but on other hand other subjects 99% passed.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) - Batch of 2030

In short, good reputed university in Punjab.
Placements: Currently, the placement records are limited as the course has only been running for a year. Top recruiters visit the campus regularly, and approximately 80 to 85 percent of students are placed each year. Those who do not secure a job placement typically secure internships instead.
Infrastructure: The building is very large, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus at every location. The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology and are among the best, featuring modern equipment. In my opinion, it has the best technology and modern equipment in labs in Punjab, especially among universities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Semester exams are tougher. The course curriculum is also up to date as per the latest guidelines for the government bodies and Amity University. Mohali is well-equipped with modern technologies in the labs of the campus.

B.Sc. in Clinical Psychology with Research - Batch of 2028

Review of Amity University, Punjab.
Placements: The campus is newly established therefore placements are limited. Only limited companies visit for campus recruitment. But still, you can expect an average salary package of around 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 30 LPA. There are no placements for psychology UG.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very large, but not very small also. I expected it to be slightly larger, but it's okay. Food courts are available. We have a sports ground, gym, and garden. If you are looking for something crazy, then it is not available. But if you are peace-loving, then welcome.
Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. I have no issues with our faculty. They are very experienced, intelligent, and helpful. They are always available for us whenever we need any academic help or mental support as well. The course curriculum is also well-designed. You will love what you are studying.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Human Genetics and Molecular Medicine (Research) - Batch of 2028

Absolutely satisfied with almost everything - Good placements, pretty campus, healthy environment.
Placements: My seniors told me most of them have been placed by the university in prestigious companies like Cipla, Torrent Pharma, etc. The packages range from 2.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA. All the students got it from my batch. Professors are very helpful in this area. I am hoping for a job as a bioinformatics assistant or a clinical genetics lab assistant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is freely available to the whole campus. There are various labs for various fields like biochemistry, microbiology, preparatory labs, etc. The food is average but the menu keeps changing so it offers a variety of food. A separate gym and indoor sports area are available. The outdoor games ground is something of an interesting sight. The hostel rooms are separate for each individual even when sharing you have your own wardrobe and a bed. There is a wellness center if you get sick. Library is the most beautiful and comfortable space in there. I personally love it.
Faculty: Teachers are very hardworking and helpful. The presentations prepared by them cover almost all the important topics. Surprise tests are often taken to help with the final exams. Subjective exams are not that difficult to crack. Objective exams require a bit of extra studying. This year the university is following a relatively grading system which is great news. The pass percentage is about 40%.
Other: My course is a research-based course that is rarely available nearby. All the experiments are fun and an opportunity to learn. There are lots of events conducted like Sangathan, Amifest, Amiphoria, DJ nights, etc. The clubs formed for each art form are fun.

The law campus of Amity University is the best, and the faculty is also very cooperative.
Placements: This year, the law batch will graduate, and placements are also provided for students from other departments. Many students were placed last year. You can visit the Amity University Punjab page on Instagram to see our university events. Students have won many prizes.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the hostel are average, and the rules at Amity University Punjab could be improved. The Wi-Fi quality is poor. Labs and classrooms are good, and the library is excellent. The friendly environment makes you feel at peace. Many students visit the library every day.
Faculty: Semester exams are well-organized. First, they conduct the MST, followed by surprise tests, practicals, and end-semester exams. Teachers are very helpful, they assist students in preparing for exams, clear all their doubts, and highlight important topics.
Other: I chose this college because the campus crowd is good.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.6

A Decent College if You Want to Study While Enjoying Your Life.
Placements: In the Mohali Campus, there have been no placements for B.Teach yet as the first batch will pass out in 2025. However, the companies that have been promised are good like Microsoft, IBM, etc. Internships start in the 3rd year, and almost everyone that applied for a summer internship got one. I heard that the placements in Amity Noida are average at 3.5 LPA. Hoping the placements would be better here as it’s less crowded.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for B.Tech and overall is great. We have computer labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and a library. Wi-Fi, however, is VERY slow, almost negligible, so that’s a disadvantage. However, the ethernet in labs has a good speed. Hostel’s infrastructure is also great, and all things are in good condition as the university is new. The downside is the mess and canteen are the same, and the food is not that good. Medical facilities are good; you can get the medicine you need for your problem for free. Sports infrastructure is also good, however, we don’t have coaches for sports.
Faculty: Almost all teachers here have a Ph.D. and Dr. in front of their name, but that doesn’t mean they are good teachers. Some teachers are very enthusiastic and make the class interesting and concepts easier to understand, whereas some are new and seem like they were just put to teach the subject because they didn’t find anyone else. The course curriculum in the first year wasn’t good. Some of the subjects were pretty useless, and the faculty not teaching well made it worse. The second-year curriculum is great and just what we need, except for 1-2 subjects. Semester exams are pretty difficult; most of the students get CGPA around 4-6 in B.Tech. The pass percentage is decent, almost 80-90% of students pass easily, but just pass; no one usually gets great marks.
Other: I wanted to pursue B.Tech as I’ve always been interested in coding. It would be better if French/German (foreign business languages) were removed from our course as they only teach them for one year, and let’s be real, no one can learn them in one year, so it’s a waste. We also have environmental studies, which we already did in 9th and 10th. We have frequent events like Diwali, Halloween, Lohri, and other festivals, including third-party events too. But it would be great if the students were well-informed about them, as many times we get to know after the event ends that something happened in the university.
