Chitkara University is one of the most reputed private universities in Punjab district. For the purpose of taking admission in institute minimum of 60% marks are required in 10th and 12th class (all courses).

The eligibility criteria for BTech at Chitkara University is Class 12 with a minimum of 60% total and accepted entrance is JEE Main. Chitkara University accepts MAT, XAT, CAT and other entrance exam scores for admission to different UG, PG, PhD, and other courses. It is cumpolsory for all students to produce proof of having passed qualifying exams of Class 12 and a valid JEE MAIN .

The university accepts CUET scores for both undergraduate courses across various specializations. The university considers CUET scores for admission to its Integrated BBA, BSc, BDes, BPT and other programmes. Candidates must qualify the CUET exam to be eligible for admission, and the exam will cover specific subjects and a general test section.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held from 2nd April 2026 to 9th April 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 for Session 2 will be available on the website.

Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. First of all, the candidates must pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks of the total marks (mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in any stream. And secondly, candidates are required to appear in national-lavel entrance examination, for example JEE Main (mandatory for 2023 batch).

Chitkara College of Sales and Marketing offers admission to an MBA programme. Admission to the courses is based completely on the merit. Candidates are required to appear for an entrance exam, in order to secure admission. CCSM Chandigarh only accepts CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, and NMAT scores for admissions. 

Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 in any stream to apply for Chitkara School of Mass Communication BA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Aspirants are selected for BA based on their merit or SAT score. 

 Chitkara College of Sales and Marketing offers admission to MBA courses solely on the basis of merit obtained in graduation. However, the college has specified a minimum aggregate of 50% in Graduation. Candidates with 50% or more have a pretty good chance at getting into CCSM. However, candidate also need to appear for an entrance exam (CTA/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT) to secure admission to Chitkara College of Sales and Marketing.

It is five year including three years of intensive learning experience at Chitkara University’s campus with ample theoretical knowledge followed by two years of internship in a reputed IT organisation. After the completion of three-year BCA coupled with intensive classes, students get to spend the last two years as an internship in top IT companies

SAT score results are declared within two weeks of exam conduction. It usually takes 13-14 days for College Board to release the scores of SAT exam for the applicant, but the score reports take some more time to be relased. Within a week or two the score reports with SAT exam scores are sent to the colleges the applicant had selected during SAT exam registrations. Thus, applicants should ensure that the SAT exam date they choose, the results of the exam align with their admission applications. Also the time for sending the SAT score reports should also be taken into account.

• Migration certificate from the Board/University last attended.
• Rank card of qualifying examinations, if result is not declared then attach Admit Card (where ever applicable).
• Character certificate as per the format given on the website.
• Medical fitness certificate as per the format given on the website.
• Reserve category certificate, if applicable.
• Affidavit signed by Executive Magistrate/ Notary Public required in case of gap in the studies for not being involved in any criminal activities during the gap period.

Yes, candidates who have completed graduation can apply for Chitkara School of Mass Communication MA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. The selection for MA is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

As per the admission policy of Chitkara University, direct admission is not applicable for the BCom course. To get admitted to the BCom course, candidates must have a valid score in the last qualifying exam followed by the group discussion and personal interview round. However, Chitkara Business School also accepts Pearson Test scores and SAT scores for admission to the BCom (Hons) course. Therefore, candidates with a valid SAT score can apply for the BCom course admission. However, before applying candidates must have Class 12 with 50% aggregate from a recognised board. 

Candidates who has twelve years of school education with atleast 50% aggregate are eligible for BCom Economics at Chitkara Business School. Eligible candidates must also fulfill the selection process, which includes group discussion and personal interview. Further, candidates with a Pearson Test scores and SAT scores are also accepted for BCom admission. Students might have to participate in a couselling process.
