Unfortunately, Anna University is not saying anything on the subject. However, one need not panic. Admissions to engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu are based on the marks obtained in 12th and not on any entrance test. Hence the admission process can very well begin after 12th results are published in the state. I am sure Anna University must have prepared all the required forms etc. To make the new link operational. I would like to advise you that please show a little patience. That's all.

You have indeed scored very handsomely in your 12th examination. If one looks at only these marks then I am sure you will definitely get admission in one of the engineering colleges in Tamilnadu Through Anna University. However there are some other criterias for admissions also. Hi,
The admission is also dependent on your caste. If you belong to general category, then your cut off should be at least 198 or above. For BC, you need to have a cut off of 196 or above.
For MBC, you need to have 190 and above.
For SC it is 185 and above and for ST it is 180 and above.
These are for CEG campus only. If you have a good cut off then you can get the other colleges under Anna University.
