Lalit Narayan Mithila University conducts PAT for accepting admission to the programme in September, every year. However, candidates with a valid UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE score or teachers of LNMU and its affiliated colleges or non-teaching employees of LNMU with over five years of working experience are exempted from PAT and are granted direct admission provided that they fulfil the PhD eligibility criteria.
The last date for LNMU UG admissions for the session 2025-2029 was Jun 3, 2025 without a late fees. Hence, the application window for LNMU UG admissions 2025 is now closed. The university has now released merit lists for the UG courses based on which seat allotment will be made. Students are advised to visit the university's official website to get all the latest updates about Lalit Narayan Mithila University admissions 2025.
LNMU BTech admission is offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Combined Admission Test, conducted by the University. It is a 135 minutes test comprising 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test comprises 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Shortlisted candidates are further called for counselling-cum-seat allotment round.
Students seeking admission in the BBA course offered at Lalit Narayan Mithila University must need to meet the specified eligibility i.e. Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board. The university accepts students for BBA programme on the basis of merit secured by them in the last qualifying exam (Class 12). The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of LNMU and apply for the programme by filling out the application form and paying the course fee. Lalit Narayan Mithila University offers BTech course across several specialisations. The university accepts students to its BTech programme based on their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the university. To be eligible to pursue LNMU BTech admission, candidates must have scored at least 45% in Class 12 with relevant subjects. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% is eligible to get admission at LNMU BTech course. However, as admissions are entrance-based, students are required to secure a valid score in the entrance exam. Interested candidates can check out other colleges/universities offering online BTech courses.
