Ashoka University BSc (Hons) is a four-year undergraduate course, divided into eight semesters. Ashoka University BSc courses across nine specialisations. Some of these specialisations include psychology, Computer Science, Economics & Finance, Biology etc. The duration of the programme is four years. The Ashoka University BSc Fees consists of components such as tuition fee, admission charges, Residence Fee, Essential Services etc. Some of these fee are that must be paid at the time of admission while the other fees such as tuition and examination fees are to be paid annually. The fee amount can be more or less depending on the chosen specialisation and is usually paid in installments across the academic years. The first-year fee breakdown of BSc is as follows:
- Tuition Fee: INR 11.22 lakhs
- Residence Fee: INR 2.28 lakhs
- Essential Services - (consisting of Medical Insurance and Laundry Services): INR 5,400
One-time fee: Admissions Fee (refundable) of INR 50,000 at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment. Security Deposit (refundable) of INR 85,000 (including Security Deposit of INR 50,000 and Meal Cost Deposit of INR 35,000) at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment. The Security Deposit will be refunded at the time of graduation from Ashoka University or at the time of withdrawal of admission from the programme. Acceptance Fee (non-refundable) of INR 10,000 at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment.

Ashoka University BSc scholarships are offered to students as financial aid. There is a need-based financial aid philosophy, followed by the university. Yes, Ashoka University offers two types of scholarships, namely Need-Based Financial Aid Philosophy and Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship, to its students. The financial aid given by Ashoka University is assessed solely on the basis of your family’s financial standing. It is not based on scholastic merit, sports qualifications, parent’s occupation or any non-financial factors. The merit cum means scholarship is offered to exceptional undergraduate students intending to major in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Computer Science at Ashoka.
Ashoka University offers Merit Cum Means scholarship for exceptional Undergraduate students intending to major in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Computer Science at Ashoka. A total of 25 scholarships will be awarded in addition to the need based financial aid available to all students, of which 5 of candidates will receive a waiver of 100% on tuition fee and residence, and remaining 20 will receive a waiver of 100% on tuition fee. Candidates can refer to the steps below to apply for Merit Cum Means scholarship:
- Candidates shortlisted based on the cut-offs will receive an invitation to apply for the Merit Scholarship.
- As a part of the scholarship application, candidates will be required to submit a form with a Statement Of Purpose (SOP), along with the latest Income Tax Return of their parents/guardian. This application form will be open for 5 days.
- Candidates will be further shortlisted by a scholarship committee based on the caliber of their SOP and family income analysis. Those that make the short list at this point could also have to show up for an in-person interview with the committee.
- Depending on how well they perform overall during the selection process, successful candidates will either earn a 100% tuition fee waiver or a 100% tuition and residence waiver.
