CUET BHU Preference List 2026: The Banaras Hindu University conducts the CUET UG admission process through the BHU CAP UG Portal 2026 at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. After the National Testing Agency releases the results for the Common University Entrance Test, BHU begins its registration process. Candidates who will appear for the CUET UG 2026 exams will be eligible to participate in the BHU admission process based on their CUET NTA scores. For this, candidates will have to submit the BHU CAP UG application form by filling out the CUET BHU preference list 2026 before the deadline.

Once the registration process is over, the Banaras Hindu University will release its course-wise CUET Cut Off List. With the release of cut off marks, eligible candidates can participate in the BHU UG counselling process for the courses and colleges selected in their preference list.

What is CUET BHU Preference List 2026?

To gain admission at Banaras Hindu University through CUET for the academic year 2026-2027, candidates are required to fill out the BHU Combined Allotment Program (CAP) UG Form 2026.  The registration form includes the CUET BHU preference list, where candidates have to select a list of colleges and courses in order of their preference.

Once the registration deadline is over, BHU starts the seat allocation process. For this, it releases the category-wise CUET BHU Cutoff list for undergraduate courses. The list is prepared based on the NTA CUET scores and preferences selected by the candidate. Candidates who meet all the eligibility requirements by BHU can participate in the CUET counselling process if they meet the cut off score.

Steps to Fill CUET BHU Preference List in CAP UG Form 2026

The BHU CUET counselling registration process will be conducted at the BHU CAP UG portal. Candidates have to fill in their preferred courses and colleges in the application form. Follow the steps given below to fill out the CUET BHU Preference List:

1. Visit the official BHU CAP UG Portal 2026: bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.
3. Create login credentials by entering CUET application number, Date of Birth, and Captcha.
4. Log in using the created BHU credentials.
5. Fill the BHU Under Graduate Programme Registration Form by entering details like:
   • Personal Details
   • Educational Details
   • Upload of Photo & Signature
   • Document Upload
   • Programme Selection
   • Bank Account Details
6. Confirm the details and pay the CUET BHU Application Fee 2026.
7. The screen will be redirected to the ‘Course and College Preferences’ page.
8. Select the preferred courses and colleges from the provided list.
9. Arrange the list in order of preference by keeping the most preferred college and course at the top.
10. Review your BHU preference list and click on ‘Save & Submit’ to confirm the list.
