- Check registered email ID and phone number for SMS as It includes CUET application form number on successful registration.
- Check the saved page of CUET application form. or,
- Candidates may contact at NTA to know their CUET application form number.
After getting the CUET application number, students must ensure to note it somewhere for future login process. CUET application form number is required to login and download the admit card or results when released.
CUET application form does not have a section to select courses and colleges. Candidates will have to select the CUET course while filling the CUET counselling form on official website of participating universities. While filling the CUET counselling application form, it is important to select the courses on order of preference, placing the one candudate prefer most at the top of list and the one that they prefer least at the bottom. This ordering matters because in the CUET admissions process, first choice is usually considered initially, and if that's full, the subsequent preferences are looked into.
The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University CUET UG Admission Process 2026
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University opened its BBAU CUET registration window on July 14 . After the registration closes, BBAU will release the course-wise merit list for the UG courses offered. The BBAU CUET cut off 2026 will be made available at bbau.ac.in and will include the names of candidates eligible for counselling process.

1. Register on BBAU Lucknow Admission Portal
Aspirants are required to visit BBAU website - bbaucuet.samarth.edu.in and click on New Registration to participate in the online counselling process. Aspirants are required to fill in these details to register for CUET UG Counselling.
- Candidate’s CUET application number
- Candidate’s date of birth as per CUET application form
2. Re-login on Admission Portal
After registering themselves on the BBAU admission portal, candidates are required to re-login with the CUET application number and password.
3. Fill the Application Form and Upload Documents
Candidates are now required to fill out the application form and upload documents. The forms will ask for Personal Details and Educational Details.
4. Pay the Counselling Registration Fee
Candidates are now required to pay the registration fee.
5. Check the Merit List
Candidates have to check for their names in the BBAU CUET Merit List on the official website - bbau.ac.in.
6. Verify Documents
Candidates with their names on the Merit List will have to verify their documents by DAC on the Samarth Portal.
7. Challan Generation
Once the documents have been verified, the DAC will generate a challan for fee submission.
8. Submission of Fee
DAC will declare a list of candidates against whom challan has been generated. These candidates will have to pay the admission fee by the given last date to secure their seats at BBAU.

The number of seats offered through CUET UG counselling is not certain, it is estimated to be approximately 10,000 seats. Seat availability depends on course and university that candidate has applied for. Candidates can check the university wise CUET counselling seats on its repective official website.
CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2026 counselling process will have the following stages:
- Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2026.
- Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
- Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.
Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.
- Matriculation or its equivalent certificate.
- Class 12 mark sheet.
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority.
- PwD Certificate (if applicable).
- BHU employee certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate of admission under sports quota is claimed.
- Scanned copy of a recent colour photograph & signature.
After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;
- Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
- Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
- Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects

BBAU CUET UG Admissions 2026: Documents Required for Counselling
Candidates eligible for admission at BBAU with their names on the merit list will have to bring in the following documents at the time of counselling:
- Marksheet/ gradesheet of the qualifying degree course (self-attested)
- Character Certificate from the dean/ head/ principal of the university/ institution last attended (in original)
- Migration Certificate from competent authority of the university/ institution last attended, to be notified later
- SC/ ST/ PwD/ Kashmiri Migrant/ NRI Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (self-attested). Candidates shall bring all the original certificates/ documents for verification.

NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 tentatively in first week of July. CUET UG result 2026 will be announced at cuet.nta.nic.in online. Candidates who will appear for the exam can check their scores online. Students will be required to enter their login credentials to view the CUET scorecard 2026. NTA will mention the applicant's details and subject-wise score for CUET 2026. The scores will be sent to the universities for which candidates have applied soon after the declaration of results. Candidates must note that the role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET results 2026.

Yes, candidate will have to participate in CUET UG counselling process even if they are class 12th topper. Candidates cannnot get direct admission to central universities without CUET. Class 12th marks are generally used for tie breaking criteria only.
The final CUET answer key published by the NTA serves as the basis for the CUET result. Following this, it is anticipated that all of the participating universities will publish their separate cut-off lists (admission/merit lists) and dates for student acceptance to various UG programs.
Candidates must now complete the application in order to be admitted to the college they choose during the application process. Depending on the number of open seats, the college will release a separate cutoff and merit list in one or more rounds following the submission of the registration form on the college website.
