Assam Agricultural University at a glance.

Placements: Placements are below par post-graduation. But obviously, agriculture demands higher studies, and one can get ample career opportunities after PG or PhD. Though one can easily go for government competitive exams after graduation. Also, a decent no. of job openings are available in the private sector as well, but this is mostly a government job-oriented degree/field.

Overall, best college according to me. I will recommend; there is 100 percent internship also

Placements: According to my knowledge, 70-80 percent are placed. The highest is 12 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. Top companies are Punjab National Bank, Amul, Federal Bank, and roles were manager type. Many SEED companies, tea companies, mushroom production factories, and other dairy companies also recruited.

It is the best veterinary college in Northeast India.

Placements: Maximum passed-out students are working in various government and private sectors. Some are running their farms and clinics. Many of them are working as Veterinary Officers (V.O.) in various districts. Some are working as Food Safety Officers (F.S.O.), and others are working in laboratories and various pharmaceutical companies.

This is the best veterinary college in the entire East region if you have a deep love for animals.

Placements: About 75% of students from the department get placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA. 100% of students receive internships from our college. The top roles offered include becoming a veterinary doctor.

The college is government-run, so only the admission fee is required. Fees are affordable.

Placements: There are a total of 50 students present in our class. The college is government, so only the admission fee is required. The college provides internships for all the students, which is also called RAWEp. The college is very good.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Package ranges from Rs 35,000 - Rs 1.5 lakh. The recruitment opportunities are junior research fellow (JRF), associate director of extension education, administrative offices, and several other jobs. Around 30-40% of students get placed in various companies. Top roles offered are crop consultant, farm manager, agricultural officer, extension worker, etc.

No, normally you cannot get a B.V.Sc. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) using the mere CUET score in Assam Agricultural University (AAU). The College of Veterinary Science in AAU mainly uses their own AAU VET (Veterinary Entrance Test) to select students enrolled to study B.V.Sc.
