LPU BSc Highlights 2026
LPU BSc and BSc (H) courses are available in different specialisatons. LPU BSc admission is entrance based for some of the specialisations. The university conducts LPU NEST for admission to its courses. Students can also take lateral entry to BSc courses. For admission in BSc Health and Physical Education, students should have a valid score in the LPU PET exam conducted by the University.
The applications are accepted of the eligible students only. Below table mentions specialisation-wise LPU BSc eligibility criteria:

LPU B.Sc.LPU BSc Fees 2026
LPU BSc fees includes different components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, etc. The LPU fees is lesser for students who have availed any scholarship. Students can deposit their fee online by Credit or Debit card, or via Demand Draft. The university accepts cash payment as well.
Other than this, hostel facility for students is also provided by the university. The hostel is available in multiple sharing rooms. Students can select the suitable option for them. Hostel fee includes room rent, mess charges, electricity bill, etc. It is to be paid separately and depends on the type of room.

Last date of admissions in LPU is generally second/third week of June. Students can book slots to appear for LPUNEST exam from second week of June. Dates can change as per university guidelines.
LPU has recently launched Trial/ Audition based scholarship scheme (LPUTABS). Yes, students can apply for this scholarship scheme. Refer to the below LPUTBS Schedule of Trial/ Audition

For courses like BCA, LPUNEST is not required. If a student gets admission at LPU in this course, they will not have to qualify LPUNEST later. Although for most of the courses, LPUNEST is accepted by the university. Hence, securing good marks in LPUNEST is important for a successful admission.
The application fee for LPUNEST is given below:
- Soft Copy of LPUNEST Kit: INR 1,000 (for boys & girls)
- Printed LPUNEST Kit: INR 1,500 (for boys & girls)

LPU BSc Admission Process 2026
LPU BSc admission to all the specialisations is done through online mode. Candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to apply online through the admission portal of the University. The common LPU admission process for BSc is shown below:
1: Registration
Register on official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with details like name, email-id, mobile number, state, gender and password). Email id used during registration acts as username for portal and password needs to be set by candidate while registration. Login to LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.
2: Application for admission
Candidates can continue to take admission and then apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes):
2.1 - Fill application form
2.2 - Select programme from available course list
2.3 - Make payment of INR 10,000 (includes application fee of INR 500, rest is part of programme fee for first semester). After making payment, university will dispatch prospectus at correspondence address (entered in application form), and unique provisional registration no. generated.
2.4 - Upload documents.
2.5 - Deposit balance fee within timelines prescribed by LPU.
3: Apply for LPUNEST
Lovely Professional University conducts an online eligibility/scholarship test, LPU NEST basis which students can avail a number of scholarships. The cost for the application form and soft copy of the LPU NEST Kit is INR 1,000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls) and fill the application form of LPUNEST.
4: Book the exam slot and appear for it

LPU BSc Curriculum
LPU BSc curriculum is divided in six or eight semester depending on the specialisation. The syllabus of each academic year is divided in two semesters namely Autumn and Spring term. Students get to learn many core and elective subjects related to the specialisation pursued. The last year curriculum may include an internship or some kind of practical exposure. Some BSc (Hons) Agriculture subjects are Fundamentals of Agronomy, Introduction to Forestry, etc. Students can also check CUET or LPUNEST syllabus to prepare for the entrance exam.
