Q:   Which are the PGs and hostels available close to B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology?
A:

There are several hostels near B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology but very less PG's near college. In Urapakkam there were 5 to 6 PG's with wi-fi, AC and food facilities but the rent is too high. KPS women's hostel is situated near the college. PG's are available in Tambaram from where you need to travel 20 minutes to reach the college. By analyzing those scenarios we can conclude that those who prefer to study their graduate in crescent can chose to stay in the college hostel which provides good facilities and costs lesser than other PG's

Good hostel and Muslim-friendly environment.

Faculty: Teachers here decently help you. Don't expect spoon-feeding like in school. Apart from that, the syllabus is pretty old, but the exams are easy to crack. You can study one day before the exam, and it's easy. If you want to learn in-depth, then it's in ur own hands.

A good college if you are a good student.

Faculty: Teachers are really knowledgeable. If you get along well they will give good guidance. The course curriculum gets updated after a certain period according to the students' preferences. The pass percentage is high. The semester exams and CAT have been given enough holidays to prepare.

It makes students somewhat industry-ready by including relevant subjects and activities. As for semester exams, they are neither too difficult nor too easy. I am somewhat satisfied with the college hostel and infrastructure.

Faculty: Semester exams are not very difficult. 40% is the pass percentage. Faculty members give marks randomly. We will be surprised when we get our results. We could not imagine. We might write well but we might get different results. In other cases, we might have written very badly, but the results might be good.

Students can get a degree from here but can't get skills.

Faculty: Faculty members are average. Most of the teachers do not know what they teach. Some professors are very strong in teaching and good enough. I would rate only 3 out of 5 stars for the faculty members, curriculum, and exams. Here, exams are on a proper time. To prepare for exams, they conduct CAT continuous assessment tests 2 times per semester, and it makes it easy to prepare for semester exams.
