Yes, a degree from Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, is valid for government jobs. It is a central government university established by an Act of Parliament. As a centrally recognised university, its degrees are considered legitimate for government job applications across India. The university is recognised by the UGC and accredited by the NAAC Grade A+.

As per admission policy 2023, 50% seats of total intake are reserved for SC/ST applicant. A total of 10% for EWS and 5% for PWDs. However, reservation is applicable as per existing rules and norms by BBAU. According to the BBAU admission policy, seats under SC/ST category shall be interchangable if candidates under a given category is/are not available.

National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2026 application form at cuet.nta.nic.in. The last date is February 26, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. CUET UG application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of fees. Before applying, check the eligibility criteria for CUET UG exam.

The minimum eligibility for UG programmes at BBAU, Lucknow is passing Class 12 with atleast 50% aggregate. The selection criteria is entrance based with the college accepting CUET UG scores for the same.
