Somewhat satisfied with the education system of this college overall.
Placements: I don't think any placement took place there from my department because I think this was a mediocre college, and other departments like CSE students may have got placements, but not in any top companies for sure. Top roles that were offered were research and development.
Infrastructure: Facilities were not better, as far as my point of view was concerned. The college was going through a phase of change, as one more was under construction, but at the time of our course, there were below-average facilities available for every department for sure.
Faculty: Average because a few teachers were qualified enough, but others were below satisfactory. The whole college was fine. They find excuses to charge you as much as possible, and they gave learning less priority, so exams were not difficult, but the management deliberately made it through by exaggerating the form formalities and other useless procedures.
Other: I chose to take admission over there because I was unable to understand the level of college procedure. As time passed, I was as satisfied as when taking admission, and one more important thing was that there was a systematic bias towards local students, so I wouldn't recommend any outsider to take admission in any course over there.

MCC is marvellous in all aspects.
Placements: The 75-year legacy that MCC holds is because of its placement cell, as it has managed to place N number of students so far. For our department, placements are less, but students do get the right opportunities, and for that no one can actually complain. I hope the placement scenario for our department gets better next year as I will be graduating in 2027.
Infrastructure: Unarguably, the largest auditorium on our campus has a seating capacity of over 2500 students. I have not seen any bigger auditorium than that, as it has hosted various personalities from different fields and even combined guest lectures happen there. There is a girls' hostel inside the campus which is supervised by a sister, and thus discipline of the highest level has to be maintained.
Faculty: Experience is what you can see evidently from faculty members of MCC, as one of the Psychology faculty members has been teaching here for more than two decades now. Since mine is a dual course, the HOD from both of those departments holds a PhD degree. Philosophy faculty also have completed her M.Phil as well.
Other: Around 40 clubs are available at MCC, and one can be a part of as many as they want. The crowd is unarguably the best, and so is MCC's fest as well.

B.Sc. in Food Technology - Batch of 2028

Really great college for Food Technology. It makes us industry-ready and is the best.
Placements: About 60 percent of students got placed in my course, including internships. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the highest is Rs. 25,000 per month. The roles offered are in Quality Control and Quality Assurance from Food Technology. Companies hiring are Nestle, ITC, and a lot more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is a bit slow but labs, classrooms, and the library is the best compared to many colleges. Hostel food is comparatively better than many hostels I've been to. There is an ambulance for medical emergencies, the canteen is good, and sports are very much encouraged.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified as well, most of them hold a PhD, and they teach really well. Especially for food technology, the college is way too good, the curriculum is very relevant, and we are offered industrial visits every 2 weeks and are given an internship opportunity at the end-semester. The semester exams are difficult and make us industry-ready. The pass percentage of students is like 95 percent.
Other: I am interested in food technology hence, I took up this course. It was worth it because I did many certificate courses and got placed for an internship, and the campus life is also good. Although the fests and stuff need to be improved, it is overall good, I would say.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college. It's not worth it.
Placements: There are no placements in the college. They tell us that we will get guaranteed placements, but in the name of placements, they only share company links through LinkedIn. There are no placement training classes or resume-building classes. No student from my class gets placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. The food and transportation facilities are also good, but the infrastructure is old. There are three old buildings in the name of infrastructure. There is no playground. There is only a basketball court. The college is in an industrial area, so there is no outer space, but the greenery is good.
Faculty: Faculty is good, but only some teachers are good. Some of them do not even know the subjects they teach because they are from different backgrounds. Some teachers are experienced, while others are freshers. Exams are conducted strictly, including internal exams, external exams, and tests. Teachers are supportive.

Great environment, great cultural events.
Placements: A lower percentage of students get placed. The lowest and highest package offered ranges from 8 to 10 LPA. There are a lot of companies that promise to offer jobs at KJU, but Wipro, Infosys, and Amazon are the most popular and top ones. Associate Analyst, Statistical Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Risk Analyst are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There is student, guest, and faculty Wi-Fi available. There are smart classrooms with projectors. There are three libraries with various categories of books. Some hostels are great, like Carmel Hostel and Mary Math Hostel. I wouldn't recommend Mother Mary Hostel and Navajyothi Hostel. The mess food is average. Mostly North Indian and Kerala food is served. Sports and games are the areas where people show high interest.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is average and depends on teacher. The course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite easy, and 35% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose Data Science as my first course, but due to the limited availability of seats, I got my current course. They provide three options. We should prioritize the courses in order. The best thing about this course is that it offers a wide range of opportunities.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - Batch of 2027
Offered by GIBS Business School

My experience in GIBS Business School.
Placements: The highest package offered by the college is 20 LPA. The average is 8–8.5 LPA. The minimum is 6.5 LPA as of 2026. Around 90% of students got internships from the college itself, while others opted for self-internships. There are different specializations with major and minor subjects, which are essential and provide practical knowledge in both fields.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the PGDM course and hostel is well taken care of by the management. They ensure yearly updates to library facilities, classroom infrastructure, and Wi-Fi to ease students’ learning. The hostel rooms are good enough and comfortable as well.
Faculty: Faculty at GIBS is very helpful, highly professional, and knowledgeable. They provide proper guidance at every step and are easy to approach. The PGDM courses offered are industry-relevant. It provides both theoretical and practical knowledge to the students.
Other: The PGDM course here at GIBS includes two additional programs: IRE (Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship) and BMP (Business Master Program), both of which are industry-relevant and essential for students.
