The Jain Deemed-to-be University in Bangalore's Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) has a good infrastructure, industry partnerships, and a variety of M.Tech programs. There are, however, several drawbacks, including expensive tuition fee, lower placement rates and average packages than B.Tech degrees, and no publicly available data on M.Tech student outcomes and placements. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore has a good placement record for B.Tech programs, but assessing M.Tech placements is more challenging due to limited publicly available data. The university website and third-party resources like Shiksha offer scarce or absent data specifically on M.Tech placements. A lower placement rate for M.Tech programs compared to B.Tech at FET is reported, with a 2023 placement rate of 10.64%.M.Tech placements tend to be lower across universities, due to factors such as a smaller pool of M.Tech-specific recruiters, a focus on research and academics, and individual factors like research experience, industry readiness, and individual student skills. To learn more about M.Tech placements, contact the admissions office or placement cell or talk to current students or alumni at FET.When choosing an M.Tech program, consider factors such as programme curriculum and specialization, faculty expertise and research opportunities, and infrastructure and learning environment. By thoroughly evaluating these aspects, you can choose the M.Tech programme that best suits your academic and career aspirations, regardless of solely focusing on placement statistics.
