Review of Koshys Group of Institutions.
Placements: Placements are okay, around 4–2 LPA, and the Placement Office helps us secure jobs. Since we are in the middle of the semester, I haven't experienced it yet, but according to seniors, they are placed, but there is no stipend. Some of them search for jobs themselves. It is better to look for opportunities ourselves than rely on the institution.
Infrastructure: They provide good infrastructure, labs, and computers, but internet connection is not available for every device. Hostels are good for girls. They are located inside the campus, but you can't go out anytime. First, you need to take permission, except during Sunday free time.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive of students. Communication skills will enhance your chances of getting more opportunities. Most students are from Kerala, but speaking Malayalam is not allowed as much as possible, and we are requested to use English. Regarding exams, if you pay attention in class, it is not difficult to get 30/50, even if you study overnight.
Other: If you plan to come and study, I would like to advise you to boost your confidence. Improve your communication skills and time management. Keep an open mind. Be a positive thinker.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placements were good. There was a separate placement cell in the college for the placement process. There were a lot of opportunities, and the average package was 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA and the highest package was more than 18 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Federal Bank, ICICI, etc., were companies that visited for campus placement. There were many rounds of interviews and GDs to get a successful and satisfying placement, as per the student's desire, it also depended upon the student's education and skills that the company could approach them. Internship was also provided in the college.
Infrastructure: The college had set up a hostel for both girls and boys, offering a lot of facilities like rooms based on single, sharing, or twin beds, etc. A lot of tasty and hygienic food was available in the college mess.
Faculty: The faculty was very supportive and cooperative and helped us out in any way possible. They even checked the progress that we made and helped in clearing any doubts that anyone may have if they came up with questions. They were very cooperative and very calm. Exams were held quite frequently, as below, one semester of 6 months, with an end-semester exam of 60 marks and an internal semester of 40 marks divided into 20 marks for written work and 20 marks for presentation. Attendance was decided by the faculty, which wasn't too hectic if we attended lectures regularly. The course curriculum was designed to make the students understand the needs, requirements and demands of the industry. They were given all sorts of training, and they also provided all the resources so that they were able to get the best knowledge and education accordingly. The course syllabus was up to the latest market situation.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by East Point Group of Institutions

It is a very good college if you want to learn or pursue engineering.
Placements: Students get placed in different types of companies, but the overall placement rate is lower compared to what is advertised. The job market is currently in a difficult state. However, the placement training and support provided by teachers are very good and worth it.
Infrastructure: Facilities are great, including the library and classrooms. It is a big campus, so there is a lot of space overall, which makes the environment good. The canteen is okay. The sports facilities are really good, especially with the newly built basketball and football courts. Laboratories are also good. There is good Wi-Fi connectivity.
Faculty: I am under VTU, so the curriculum is based on the VTU syllabus. Apart from that, teachers have good knowledge of their subjects and are very helpful. They provide different types of study materials that are useful for students to score well in examinations.

Great environment, great cultural events.
Placements: A lower percentage of students get placed. The lowest and highest package offered ranges from 8 to 10 LPA. There are a lot of companies that promise to offer jobs at KJU, but Wipro, Infosys, and Amazon are the most popular and top ones. Associate Analyst, Statistical Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Risk Analyst are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There is student, guest, and faculty Wi-Fi available. There are smart classrooms with projectors. There are three libraries with various categories of books. Some hostels are great, like Carmel Hostel and Mary Math Hostel. I wouldn't recommend Mother Mary Hostel and Navajyothi Hostel. The mess food is average. Mostly North Indian and Kerala food is served. Sports and games are the areas where people show high interest.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is average and depends on teacher. The course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite easy, and 35% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose Data Science as my first course, but due to the limited availability of seats, I got my current course. They provide three options. We should prioritize the courses in order. The best thing about this course is that it offers a wide range of opportunities.

B.Sc. in Forensic Science - Batch of 2027

Good infrastructure and the campus is beautiful.
Placements: No placements for Bachelor's in Science but master's placements are there. Most of the master's students get placed in corporate or private companies. Other courses placements are there and I have seen multiple seniors get placed through college depending mainly on your academic performance.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms come with a projector, all three buildings have a lift for staff as well as students. Affiliated hostels are available, a canteen is also there, and libraries are open until 8:00 PM, sports academy is also there which encourages sports and not just studying.
Faculty: Department of Forensic Science faculty are friendly and helpful. Most of them are young but teaching is pretty good. Less exposure to the real crime world which is understandable. Labs are scheduled for the subjects which provides the students with practical knowledge.

I'm quite dissatisfied because of their fine amount and money-minded behavior.
Placements: However, the college claims 100% placement, but the placement rate is very low. Those who have skills and knowledge get placed in companies, mostly in marketing or sales roles. IT company placements are very low. The college does provide internship opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. All classrooms have smart class facilities along with blackboards. The canteen food is available, but the prices are quite high. The college also gives equal importance to sports and cultural programs.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable and helpful to students. Most faculty members are women, except for one male faculty member. They are skilled in teaching and also support students in cultural, sports, and academics. The syllabus is well structured. Semester exams are quite difficult.
Other: I was about to take an engineering course, but unfortunately, my KCET rank was low. That is why I joined this college. The college has both degree and PUC programs on the same campus. Sometimes it becomes crowded. Many fests are conducted during the academic year.
