Bharathiar University PhD Admission Process 2023: How to Apply?
The University shall admit candidates through a two-stage process an entrance test, called Common Eligibility Test (CET), and an interview. CET shall normally be conducted
by the University during June / July every year. The application process for Bharathiar University is completely online. Candidates must keep the scanned copies of the following documents handy while filling the online application. None of these documents must be not more than 512 KB of size and all of these must be in jpeg/ png/ jpg format only:
- Mark sheet of Class 10, Class 12, UG course
- Consolidated mark sheet of UG course (if course complete)
- Provisional certificate
- Degree certificate
- Community certificate
- Special category certificate
- Passport size photograph
- Applicant’s signature using blue/black pen on a white sheet
- Score card of CET/ MPhil/ NET/ SET/ GATE/ UGC-JRF/ CSIR/ Teacher Fellowship certificate (if any)
- Experience certificate/ No Objection Certificate

The cost of application for PhD is INR 1,000 for General category candidates. For SC/ ST candidates; however, the application fee is INR 500.

(For example, if the candidate belongs to OC/BC/MBC/DNC and willing to submit the application for three institutions, the aspirant has to pay the fee as INR 1000 * 3 = INR 3000).

Bharathiar University average package for 2024-25 has not been released yet. Once out it will be updated on Shiksha.com. Meanwhile student can refer to the Bharathiar placements 2024 median packages of INR 3 LPA and INR 6.75 LPA for UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) courses, respectively.
