TANCET 2025 Hall Ticket: Anna University has released TANCET admit card. All applicants are eligible to download the TANCET hall ticket online from the official website , tancet.annauniv.edu. Q:   When will TANCET admit card release?

A: 

Anna University releases the TANCET admit card around 10-15 days before the exam date. Typically, TANCET exam is conducted in the last week of March. Candidates will be issued the TANCET 2025 admit card on March 7. The exam is scheduled to be held on March 22 across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu.

No, candidates must carry a printed copy of their TANCET admit card to the exam centre. A digital copy of the TANCET admit card will not be accepted at the exam centre. Soon after downloading the admit card from the official exam website, candidates must take a printout of the admit card on A4-sized paper in black and white or colour. The printed TANCET admit card must showcase all the details clearly. Additionally, the admit card of TANCET exam must not be distorted or blurred in any way. TANCET admit card serves as proof of identity of the candidate on the exam day. Candidates will also have to show the TANCET admit card at the time of counselling process. Moreover, candidates are not allowed to change the TANCET test centre allotted at any point of time during the exam cycle. Candidates have to choose the prefered test city while filling the TANCET application form. Anna University allocates the TANCET exam centre in the prefered exam city filled at the time of exam registration. Therefore, it is critical to select the test city preference after giving multiple thoughts to it.

Q:   Will there be a common admit card for TANCET and CEETA PG?

A: 

The TANCET examination is conducted to offer admission to MBA and MCA courses offered in Tamil Nadu. On the contrary, CEETA PG is a postgraduate entrance examination conducted to offer admissions to postgraduate engineering, architecture, and planning programs, such as M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan. Both the exams, TANCET and CEETA PG, are conducted on a separate day. Therefore, candidates will be issued separate admit card for both the exams.

Q:   How will I come to know my TANCET exam centre?

A: 

Candidates will know their allotted TANCET exam centre once the admit card is issued. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the TANCET hall ticket. Anna University allots a test centre to aspirants based on their exam city preference mentioned during the registration process. The admit card of TANCET exam will indicate the complete address of the test venue, along with the city and pincode. Q:   I have lost my TANCET admit card after the exam. Do I need hall ticket for admission?

A: 
Yes, TANCET admit card is required after the exam has been conducted. Candidates have to retain the TANCET hall ticket until the admission process is over. DTE Chennai will check the hard copy of hall ticket and TANCET scorecard at the time of document verification. Candidates are marked ineligible to participate in the admission process if they do not have any of these documents. However, candidates who have lost the hall ticket or scorecard can apply for a duplicate copy of the same. An additional fee of INR 300 is applicable to apply for the duplicate hall ticket or scorecard. The fee is to be paid via a demand draft.

Q:   Can I change the TANCET exam city after issuance of the hall ticket?

A: 
No. Change in the TANCET exam city is not allowed. Anna University will use the test city selected by the candidates while filling the form to allocate the exam centre. Requests for change in the TANCET exam city are not entertained in any circumstance. Besides the exam city, candidates are not allowed to raise requests for a change of exam centres within an exam city. Any requests for change other than any discrepancy in the hall ticket will not be entertained. Therefore, candidates must try to make travel arrangements beforehand if the test centre location is not desirable.

Q:   What should I do if I am unable to download TANCET admit card?

A: 
TANCET hall ticket is downloadable from the official login portal available on the exam website. Candidates must enter the login credentials to download the hall ticket of TANCET exam. Credentials to access the TANCET admit card login portal, includes email ID and password. Candidates need to abide by the following guidelines on the exam day:

  • Produce the hall ticket at the entry gate of the examination centre else the officials will not allow the candidate to get inside the exam centre.
