The infrastructure, faculty, and placement opportunities are average.
Placements: Most companies that visit this college offer roles in SDE, web development, sales, etc. Here, only mass recruiters visit, not the Faang companies. Even though this college is a branch of BIT Mesra, the management faculty members are ill and have an ignoring behavior. Students pay a huge money, but do not get the placement or internship assistance.
Infrastructure: The basic facilities are not provided in our college even after paying a huge amount. The mess food quality is very bad. Sometimes insects and worms are seen in the food. Boys are suffering from typhoid and other diseases by eating the poor mess food.
Faculty: Only a few faculty members are supportive. Especially, the Physics department faculty members are so much wicked. Most of them do not know the proper way to teach the student, they only know ratification. They want to fail the student to earn more money, when students register for a re-exam or a back paper.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science, but I got less marks in JEE. So, forced to opt for this course at this college, where there is no campus life, no competitive environment, they are just charging the money in the name of BIT Mesra. Fests organized are normal here, even though they charge huge fees, they can't afford to call a respected band for the fests.

The college is good for our life but it is expensive as well .
Placements: In our college, an average 60% of students are placed every year in my course. The highest package offered in our college is 51 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Google last year. It is important to do an internship for the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are really great. There are a lot of classrooms available; approximately 5 classrooms are for semester 4 students, and there are Wi-Fi facilities available for the department, and of course there is a separate library available. Also, the mess is very clean and hygienic for us, and varieties of foods are served in our college sports, cultural activities, and other curriculum activities that are also available for us. There are also medical facilities available for us.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and soulful; they help and are involved in students growth and overall development; they are knowledgeable and qualified; and yes, our college helps students to be industry-ready, although they are very strict and create pressure on us, and exams are tougher than I thought.

About BIT Deoghar!
Placements: In Computer Science and Engineering, the placement rate is around 90%. A minimum of 7.5 CGPA is required for students to sit in placements. The minimum package was 4 LPA, the average was 7 LPA, and the highest was around 14 LPA. Companies like Wipro visit here.
Infrastructure: The mess food is okayish. Rooms have fans, not air-conditioned. LAN is available, but there is no Wi-Fi. The library does have Wi-Fi as well as AC. Classrooms have fans. The infrastructure is average. The hostel room does not have wardrobes; it’s all open. The room size is quite nice for 2-3 people.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. The teaching quality is average, not too good. The semester exams are conducted by BIT Mesra, so papers come from there. It depends on the level of the paper for the pass percentage. You need to study by yourself.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Computer Science and Engineering. The best thing is I want to pursue a career in this field as it is flourishing day by day. The course needs to be improved, and the teaching quality needs to be improved. Events are quite fun, but not what you see on Instagram reels. It’s quite basic.

Everything is average and well .
Placements: 70% of students were placed in my course, but sometimes it may be less. 51 LPA is the highest package offered in my course. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant are the companies. 50% of students got internships, and some students are doing paid internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is average, with LAN facilities, AC labs, and a library. The quality of food in our mess is very good, but sports and games are not as good. Sports equipment is also very limited, which disappoints us. However, a sports day is conducted every day.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they are highly qualified. Obviously, exams are a little bit difficult. The pass percentage is 40%. There are 2 quizzes, one mid-semester, and one end-semester exam, where we have to score 40 overall from all these assessments. That’s how we can pass the subject.
Other: I chose this course to learn coding and to get placed. Coding tests should be taken every month. Every year, there are fests called Uthaan and Agaaz conducted, and the campus environment is excellent.

Decent faculty and curriculum, but it needs improvement.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students secured jobs. The highest package offered was 51 LPA, while the average stood at 11 LPA and the lowest at 4 LPA. The top recruiters were Microsoft and Amazon. Most of them got internships. Graduates often take roles such as Software Developer, Electronics Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: Birla offers excellent student infrastructure, including modern labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a comprehensive library. Hostel accommodation is clean, with reasonably good food in the mess and canteen. The campus is equipped with adequate medical facilities and supports a variety of sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers at Birla are generally qualified and knowledgeable, but their helpfulness varies. The teaching quality is decent, though it can be inconsistent. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant and aims to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult here.

I am not that satisfied with my college. There are many rules and regulations.
Placements: About 60% of our college students get placed. The highest package of this year is 10.89 LPA. The average package of this year is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is Tata Motors. About 40% of students got internships in companies like HCL, Tata Motors, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. The campus is spread over 25 acres. The area is very small, and the college itself is located in Ratanpur, which is a kind of village. Wi-Fi is decent or okay. Classrooms are like those in school, and there is no AC in classrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are not so good. They are not so helpful, and they try to give students a backlog. Exams are very hard to crack in departments like Physics. Faculty members of BME and BEC are very bad. There are 2 quizzes, one mid-semester and one end-semester exams.
