Companies come are very bad and the fee is too high. It is not value for money.
Placements: There are no such types of placements available but for MCA and MBA, the placements are quite good. Currently, I am in 1st year so I don't know much about stipends and internships but the placements are good. Overall placements are good and the best in Jharkhand.
Infrastructure: No. The hostel facilities are not provided by the college. We students have to find our hostel here in Ranchi city. No such food and lodging facilities are provided. But we are quite happy. We pay rent on our own and live. For food, we make our food or get some cook.
Faculty: The faculty members here are good. Some are good but a few are not that good. They just come and do time pass. Some students do not like them. But this is not so with me. I like and respect all the teachers here. The exam structure is based on CBCS. Students opt for their subjects on their own. I mean from the available subjects we have the freedom to choose the subjects which we want to study. Exam happens every month.
Other: Admission is based on the 12th marks of respective boards. Merit is published. Shortlisted candidates get admission. Forms are available in May. From mid-June, 1st list starts coming. Then 2nd list. And so on. Until 100 seats of boys and that of girls are filled.

I am absolutely satisfied and proud to be a bitian.
Placements: Almost 97% of the students got placed, and the remaining 3% of the students opted for off-campus placements. Companies like Bandhan Bank, ICICI bank, etc., visit the campus for placements. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Companies like Mahindra Finance, HDFC visit the campus for internships and offers with a stipend of Rs. 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Everything in BIT Mesra is just above imagination. Classrooms are well developed. We have a huge library where we can issue books and also had a peaceful place to read books. The college has different societies which provide us with many fun activities as well as knowledgeable things.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and highly qualified and have much experience. They are very friendly, and they are ready to clear your doubts anytime. Teachers are very much student-centred. Every subject has 2 to 3 teachers. The college conducts industrial visits where students get knowledge about how actually the industry works.
Other: The college organises 2 mega fests every year that are college fest called Bitostav, sports fest called Vajra. Celebrities like Sunidhi Chauhan, Mohit Chauhan visit the college during these events and entertain us. The campus has a huge crowd, and are from all over India as well as outside India.
