The documents required for eligibility verification during BTech in AI & ML admissions at BIT Mesra include:
Marksheets of Class X, XI, and XII or Equivalent Examination
Passing certificates of Class X, XI, and XII or Equivalent Examination
Date of Birth certificate (as recorded in the Secondary Education Board Class X certificate or equivalent)
Proof of equivalence certificate (if required) from the evaluation division of the AIU
Please note that candidates must have passed with minimum 60% marks in average of all subjects in Class X, XI and XII or Equivalent Examination. Additionally, candidates must have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in Class XII / I.Sc. or Equivalent Examination, with minimum 60% marks (average of five subjects PCM + Eng + Anyone).

To seek direct admission for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at BIT Mesra, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
Candidates must have appeared in one of the following competitive examinations and having valid score / percentile: CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956.
Candidates must have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Honours / aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in graduation.
Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor's programme in 2025 can also apply, provided they have obtained requisite marks or equivalent based on the latest available grades / marks at the time of applying, and if selected can join the programme provisionally.
Note: Eligible SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwD students admitted to MBA programme at any of the Campus should submit their scholarship form in the Scholarship Section of the Campus for the academic year by February for processing scholarship to SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwD students each year, as per UGC guidelines.
