No good teaching staff and industrial exposure but good placement opportunities.

Placements: The placements in our university are very useful and good. In our batch of 2013-2014, the average placements were 5-10%, and the companies offered a maximum package of 2.5-3 lacs per annum. The placement cell of our university is very active, and they work hard each year to get the well-known companies to offer good salary packages to our students. Many companies like KPMG, DYS, etc. come and hired around 5-10 students from a batch. The roles and responsibilities offered by the companies are of a sales manager, market analyst, software engineers, accountant, etc. Placements are available for both commerce as well as IT department students, but mostly the companies offer good jobs to commerce students. But unfortunately internship opportunities are not offered to students from the college side, and students have to find internships by themselves for gaining some work experience.

Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure of our university, only the main campus colleges are well-maintained and well-equipped. Many off-campus colleges don't have sufficient classrooms, labs, a sports ground, etc., and they are not well-maintained. The main campus colleges have good and spacious canteens, but the quality of food is not that good. In science labs, there is no sufficient equipment and because of that students are not able to secure good marks in their practicals which creates a problem for students results. But the main campus library is very impressive as the course books and other reference books are always available in good condition. There is proper reference section for students so that they can study there comfortably, and there is no hostel facility provided by our college.

Faculty: It is very pathetic to see that the professors in our college are not so dedicated towards teaching. Some of the professors are very good and well-qualified from well-known institutions. They give their best in teaching and help out students in their problems, but some of them don't even know the basics of the subject, and they are not interested in teaching the students. The teaching method used by them is not attractive, and they are just completing the course. Also, the students don't get industrial exposure for practical training.

Other: The crowd is not so good and educated because many students come just for the sake of attendance and not for gaining knowledge. The university does not organise annual fests and cultural events on a large level to promote the enthusiasm of students in extracurricular activities. But the university provides good scholarship opportunities to the students who score good marks in their academics.

It provides comprehensive and practical learning experiences with strong industry exposure.

Placements: 60-70% of students get placed. The highest package is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Hilton visited the college to hire students with high profiles. 90% of the students got internship placements. Roles like front office housekeeping, food and beverages, and food production are offered to students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a kitchen, library, restaurant, and conference hall, and they are neat, clean, and also hygienic. Food quality is good With proper hygiene. Medical facilities are moderate on the campus. Sports and games are also good.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Their teaching quality is very good. Any doubt will be cleared by them in any subject. There is a regularity of classes on campus from Monday to Saturday, and they are up to the mark with proper attendance. All are well-dressed here.

Other: I chose this course because it is a professional course and also gives me a chance to work in 5-star hotels. Everything is up to the mark here. Events and fests are organised here. The campus surroundings are good. Scholarships options are very realistic.
