AKTU accepts JEE Main Scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. AKTU BTech cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff ranged between 30751.6 and 1413411 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive course with a Last Round closing rank of 30751.6 for the General AII India category students.

AKTU offers scholarship assistance to students belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC category under the regulations of the UP State Scholarship scheme. Every year, UP State releases a notification for fee reimbursement for the students of AKTU and its affiliated colleges. Students studying in AKTU can register themselves for fee-waiver scholarship schemes through the Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System of UP State. AKTU has recorded good placements for its Institute of Engineering and Technology. As per the report, the highest package offered in 2024 was 53 LPA. The off-campus highest package was 112 LPA. IET recorded average package of 8.2 LPA in 2024.

DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University is expected to conduct a total of six rounds for CUET-UG-qualified candidates. However, the cutoff rounds are conducted as per seat availability. If seats are available after AKTU round six of the counselling process, the University will release the special round to fulfil their vacant seats.
