2.2
Lack of placements, poor campus management, weak infrastructure, and outdated teaching.
Placements: This year's placement scenario has been really disappointing. Very few students have been placed. Most of them are through off-campus opportunities. There have not been enough good on-campus opportunities. Students have to completely depend on off-campus applications. What is even more frustrating is that, till now, not even a single student has been selected through an on-campus drive. It is difficult to understand what the placement cell has been doing while students are constantly worried about their future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. There is no proper maintenance or authority to take responsibility for damages. The water cooler does not work properly, and the walls are weak with cracks. If you unfortunately take admission in this college, it is better not to stay in the hostel, as the situation there is even worse.
Faculty: Talking about the course, the same outdated syllabus has been in use for decades. Exams are easier compared to other colleges. But the overall college study environment is not very effective. Most professors come with notes that they have been using for many years and teach the same content.
Other: There is no proper campus life and limited support from teachers. Earlier, the fee structure was lower compared to other colleges, but now the college has started competing with private colleges in terms of fees. Students can easily find better colleges within the same fee range. Do not waste your money and time here.

Overpriced and underwhelming, a wasted opportunity.
Placements: The placement percentage for IT students at UIT Bardwan tends to be on the higher side compared to other branches, often ranging from 10% to 20%. Some reviews even suggest 90 percent chance of placement through individual experiences. It may vary, it's important to note that these figures might include both on-campus and off campus placements.
Infrastructure: Houston Quarry is not so good because we have to equip Wi-Fi with our money offering shared drones based on the amenities. Common areas and food in the mess receive mixed reviews ranging from bad to good. The food is not good but oily while canteen food is slightly better for snacks. Medical facilities are available via the investing health center and proximity to our medical college. Sports are not encouraged with on campus facilities and the university playground is not very accessible.
Faculty: Semester exams at Ebay Badman are generally described as moderate to difficult while some papers can be passed by studying previous years questions other can be unpredictable and tough a key requirement for appearing in exams is maintaining a minimum of 75 perccent attendance to pass sessional or practical subjects its 50 percent exams is reported to be quite high around 70 to 19 to 95% in some accounts particularly if friends there to class nodes and faculty guidance.
Other: Value for money is low; fees are steep for what you get. Outdated labs, inconsistent Wi-Fi and curriculum that barely touches current industry trends. Placement stats are inflated and you are mostly on your own for profile skill development. Campus life is dead the crowd is uninspired and events are few and far between. There is zero real buzz connectivity is poor outside fixed labs and the surroundings are landscaped. Extracurricular activities are non existent unless you initiate everything yourself. Don't expect a vibrant college experience, it's just a degree. This place needs a serious overhaul.

Decent college with supportive faculty, but average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement is below 20 percent in our course. The highest package was around 5 LPA, average around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS and local firms. Few got internships in small companies with roles like web development and IT support. Core jobs were rare.
Infrastructure: The department has basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel is average with limited amenities. Mess and canteen food are manageable. Medical support is minimal, and sports facilities are basic, with few regular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, though teaching quality varies. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is generally around 70- 80%. Teachers are strict.
Other: I chose this course out of interest in the field. It offers good basics and moderate exposure. Curriculum and practical training need improvement. Fests and events are average, crowd is friendly and the campus has decent connectivity and surroundings.

Great college with supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and strong placement opportunities.
Placements: Computer Science department is the best department of this college. Supportive teachers, supportive seniors and placement opportunities at our college have been impressive, with many reputed companies visiting campus each year. Leading recruiters such as TCS, Mahindra, and Vodafone have consistently offered job roles to deserving candidates across various departments. Placement cell works tirelessly to prepare students through training programs, mock interviews, and soft skills development, ensuring they are industry-ready. With a strong track record and growing corporate connections, college continues to provide a solid platform for students to launch their professional careers.
Infrastructure: Hostel is extremely safe for girls mess food is also very clean and tasty facilities are above average not best but safe for girls specially the ones who are from other states we have hospital and medical shops nearby and immediate help is provided when needed .
Faculty: Exams are held in a very disciplined manner, it is not very difficult but on a good level if you focus on lectures you will ace it. Curriculum is strict and faculty is very experienced very interactive teachers and computer labs available for students to practice coding under the guidance .
Other: Campus life is very hill and some other pooja celebration is sufficient to freshen up your mind I choose this course because of the excellent faculty .

UIT, BU has its pros and cons. It depends on students what they want.
Placements: Students of CS, ECE, and IT are placed mainly. Most of the students crack off-campus. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Mahindra, Solar, Capgemini, Vodafone, Infosys, etc. Mainly, small internships are provided by the college, and mostly students do them on their own.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are above average but not best. Infrastructure is quite good. Lab is air-conditioned. Computers are back date, but still work fine. Coming to hostel, the girls' hostel is super safe, and food quality is not bad either. You will have very cooperative seniors. Rooms of the hostel are just like any other normal government college. For medical issues, immediate aid is provided, and there are also many hospitals and medical shops nearby. College consists of one ground where maximum sports activities happen.
Faculty: Teachers are quite interactive, helpful, and professional. Since it is a college, you have to look out for yourself, the food will not be placed on your plate by itself. Semesters are mostly easy, but for some courses, it is a nightmare. Courses make students theoretically ready, but for industry, you have to do things on your own, like DSA and development. They are not taught by professors like any other college. Many students prepare for GATE and other exams.
Other: Best thing about CSE is that faculty members provide us opportunities and support us in our studies. Regular events happen. Fest is celebrated with pomp and show. Home state students are provided with many scholarships. There are also many extracurricular activities, like sports. Campus surroundings are also very nice and fresh.

It has good faculty members. The college is not good.
Placements: Overall, the placement percentage is 85%. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Capsitech, ApMoSys, Rinex Technology, Cognizant, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Ardent, Wipro, etc. Above 85% of students get internships from my department, mainly in the MNCs and startups like Capsitech, ApMoSys, Rinex Technology, TCS, etc. Roles like full-stack developer, web developer, data analyst, sales, AI/ML, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: Our institution offers modern infrastructure, including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and technology-enabled classrooms. The library boasts a vast collection of resources. Hostel facilities provide comfortable accommodation, nutritious food, and medical care. Sports facilities include courts, fields, and a fitness center. Additional amenities include counseling services and student organisations. Overall, our institution prioritizes a supportive environment catering to students' academic, physical, and emotional needs. Facilities are designed to foster growth, inclusivity, and community building, ensuring students have a well-rounded experience. Quality and accessibility are key focuses.
Faculty: Our college teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable. They deliver high-quality teaching with engaging lectures and practical examples. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, ensuring students gain valuable skills and knowledge. The program includes internships, projects, and guest lectures to prepare students for the workforce. Semester exams are challenging but manageable with consistent effort. The pass percentage is generally high, reflecting students' understanding of the subject. Overall, the faculty's expertise and relevant curriculum provide a valuable learning experience, enabling students to excel academically and professionally. Industry readiness is a key focus here.
Other: I chose this course for its strong reputation and industry relevance. The best aspects include practical learning through projects and internships, expert faculty guidance, and valuable industry connections. For improvement, it offers more elective courses, and enhancing industry exposure would be beneficial. The campus offers a vibrant atmosphere with various events, festivals, and extracurricular activities. Connectivity is excellent with high-speed Wi-Fi. Scholarships are available for deserving students. Overall, the course provides a comprehensive learning experience, preparing students for successful careers. The campus environment is supportive, fostering personal and academic growth.

I'm disappointed with faculty's behavior. But good placement in 2015 off-campus.
Placements: 2% of students got placed off-campus. The highest package is 7.5 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. There are no recruiting companies visits our college. Students only get placed off-campus. I think, 1% of students got internships in Wipro. Top roles offered are software developer and system design.
Infrastructure: The quality of classrooms is good but hostel quality is not good. Wi-Fi labs is here and classrooms and board are not clean and so dusty. Hostel food is not good. Canteen in college is good and there is no medical facility or sports and games. There is only one playground it's only for cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful but knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant and teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderate. Pass percentage is 30%. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready to get jobs on their own. Semester exams are easy to moderate.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an analog coder.

Faculty members are not that bad.
Placements: The average package offered here is 3 LPA and the highest package offered this year is 7 LPA. After COVID-19, few companies visit this campus. The placement cell did not even approach companies to come after COVID-19, so they stopped coming. There is very little chance of getting placement on campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad. The paint on the college walls has peeled off and there are visible cracks. The food in the hostel has so much oil. Even after complaining, issues have been unresolved. There are no such kind of medical facilities here. Even the college doesn't have an infirmary. No Wi-Fi is provided in the college and hostel. We can get any book from the library, but the library is too small for studying there. Only 10 to 12 students can study there at a time.
Faculty: For studies, the college is not that bad. Some faculty members teach very well while some don't. I am from the CSE department, so the syllabus is very much similar to the GATE syllabus. So we can study both simultaneously. Semester exams are not that difficult. We can pass them if we have attended all classes and checked PYQs.
Other: Because of my rank, I chose the CSE department. Coding actually excites me that's the only best thing for me. Practical implementation would be good and better for understanding. There is no campus, fest, or connectivity.

Before starting comparisons of UIT, Karnavati University, candidates should first decide their preferred BTech branches. This will help to narrow down search to institutes that offer BTech in that specific branch.

Next, candidates should consider where they wish to study BTech.
