    University of Kalyani review.
Placements: Companies are not coming to this college. This is only a government college, and there is nothing for placement. We have to suffer from a scarcity of placements. If you want placement, then you have to go outside for the company, and you will have to reach out by yourself to get that placement.
Infrastructure: I would say the college is good, but the infrastructure is not as good. The lab is also not well-maintained. The library is very good because it is a university library. Hostel facilities are decent, but the food quality is very bad. This is a government-funded university, so you get what is provided in government schools.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but we can say they are not as good as well. Examinations are held late. They always get delayed after every college admission. This exam is where everything starts because it is autonomous, and we can say that there is no proper system to manage the university department.
Other: If you are going to take admission here, please avoid it and take admission in a better college that is much better for you.

My memorable journey at University of Kalyani.
Placements: In my college, University of Kalyani, Department of Electronics and Technological Studies, approximately 65% of students get placed. The highest package this year was 8.7 LPA, which was from an off-campus placement, while the lowest package was 3.7 LPA. The top recruiting companies this year include Siemens, Skinder Electronics, Kalpataru, etc. Students must participate in internships in their final year, and they can join multiple internships. I am pursuing an internship in IoT.
Infrastructure: In our department, we have three separate buildings. One is under construction, one is for students, and the other is for faculty members and offices. The student building has two floors, which consist of four big classrooms, one electronics lab, one digital lab for computer use, and a separate physics experiential lab for the required students. Our college has full Wi-Fi connectivity used in our computer labs. The whole university has a central library, multiple grounds, and one indoor game facility room.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and qualified. Most of them explain things well and approachable way. The course curriculum is also very relevant, as our college follows Kalyani University, not MAKAUT. The semester exams are neither too easy nor too tough. They are manageable if the student prepares well for the subjects. Subjects become more difficult as the year of study. But the proper preparation, following classes, and studying from books or other study materials are enough to clear exams with good marks.
Other: By choosing this course based on my interest in electronics, I opted for electronics and instrumentation engineering in the counseling process. Students may receive scholarships like Oasis or SVMCM if they are eligible. The things that can be improved in our college are the electronics lab and the club facilities.

    Review of University of Kalyani.
Placements: In our university of Kalyani, I am pursuing in the second year the last year approximately 70% of students from our department block placements in various fields. In total, 32 students got placed in electronics and communication engineering. from our department, the highest package was 4.8 LPA, and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. The top recruiters of this year were Outworks, Siemens, Bluestack, and Misra. In our college, students have to participate in some internships in their 3rd year. Last year, approximately every student participated in internships in variable fields like IBM and IoT. Students got placed in the roles of electronics engineer, software developer, backend developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The faculty members of our university are very cooperative and helpful. we do not have any issues with our faculties from our department. We have two separate buildings, one for office work and the laboratories and another one is separated for theory classes. Only our office building is fully connected via wifi, and our full university has a separate central library . The university has a total of four hostels, three for boys and one separated only for girls. There are also a total of five college candidates available where various food options are available, such as paratha, poodi, tea, bread toast, etc., at an affordable price.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and cooperative. They're very skilled and knowledgeable. They made us clear on every topic related to our curriculum and others. The course curriculum is similar to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University, but our department is under the University of Kalyani so our university says the question papers and all. The course curriculum is as relevant as other universities pursuing B.Tech under electronics and communications, and so our university or our department has also electronics and instrumentation engineering computer science engineering and B.Tech under information technology. The semester exams are not very difficult to pause. But they shouldn't have to be aware of their duties and their curriculum to do better in their exams.

Huge campus and lots of greenery.
Placements: The placement of the college is not so good, I would say. On campus, but off campus the placements are pretty good. The scenario can change in a few years. Overall, you have to work hard to get placed in a company; your skills matter more. It's really up to you.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are nice and have everything that we need. Labs are also resourceful and good enough. There is a library in the college where you can take books and read them. There are several canteens, and the food is also good. Drinking water is available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They provide great knowledge to us. The course curriculum is well maintained. The semester exams are also good but equally difficult. It makes the students industry-ready, and I think it's a good thing. Overall, good.
Other: I chose my course, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, because that's the best I can get with my WBJEE rank. The fests are nice.

The university is good to explore and students are good.
Placements: There is no such thing as an on-campus placement at our university; students are going for off-campus placements. But the university provides internship opportunities. Off-campus, the package totally depends on the skills and the company itself. So skill acquisition is needed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good at our university but the authorities are not letting us use the labs most of the time, so it's a drawback. But we have new or outstanding products or features at our lab. The hostel facility is good and the food is also good here.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable, well qualified and helpful in terms of academics or skill acquisition. The course curriculum makes the students industry-oriented because the subjects in every semester are really helpful to help them gain knowledge. Semester exams are moderate; if someone reads well, he will pass.
Other: The campus is big and events happen department-wise; there is no such fest for all the departments together.

The infrastructure and faculty are okay. The pressure is manageable if you aim for off-campus jobs.
Placements: The college is focused on research, and students mostly aim for higher studies and prepare accordingly. There are no major placement drives or companies visiting. However, academic pressure is not very high, so students can prepare for off-campus placements in their free time if they want.
Infrastructure: The department has enough computer systems with good specifications and wired internet access. There is Wi-Fi coverage in the department, although students do not use it much. Other labs have most of the required equipment, such as basic electronic components, ICs, oscilloscopes, microprocessor kits, and more. Classrooms are large and equipped with ACs and projectors. There is a large central library in the university, which has enough books and a comfortable seating area.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and eager to help. Teaching quality is good for most teachers, but there is always one subject per semester whose lecturer is not satisfactory. The course curriculum is similar to that of other engineering colleges and is not very up-to-date. Coding-specific subjects or job-relevant topics are not emphasized enough. Students may have to rely on other sources to get an in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Passing exams is easy. Failing in lab subjects is almost impossible since it results in a wasted year. With a little consistent effort, it is not difficult to get an 8+ SGPA. Semester exam questions range from easy to difficult and cover only what is taught in class, not unnecessarily as per the curriculum.
Other: There is a lack of coding culture, which is present in most other decent engineering colleges. Overall, the campus is large and beautiful, almost annoyingly large at times. There is an annual departmental festival, which is enjoyable. There are also annual events in each hostel that everyone can attend. The department could benefit from taking more proactive measures to encourage job-oriented students, especially as B.Tech batches have started and many students do not aim for higher studies immediately. The university is in a well-reachable and well-connected spot by train and other public transport. Besides the university hostel, there are affordable PGs nearby. There are not many other activities like hobby clubs, etc. It is not a very happening place. The university management is very slow. You have to write lots of applications if you want to get anything done. Faculty and staff can be helpful and will assist you, though.
