University institute of technology, burdwan.

Placements: This college provided placement to lots of people. I think a student got a average package of 6 LPA last year, Pool campus placement drives are held for many others college. So, I think it is good that a lot of companies come there. (TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. ).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is only good, and it is a great place foe students. The campus, which is great for girls. There is a big ground, and we can play anything. There is a big computer labs and computer are is proper condition, also there are others labs and a library. Hostel infrastructure is also good.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and cooperative. They answers everything we ask and helps us in every way. The are friendly. We can also approach them via email and have our problem solved at the earliest so that we do not have wait to go to the college. As per college rule exam will conduct, 2 unit test and at last semester exam will conduct.

Other: I wanted to do engineering, so I chose this college as this is a grate place.

I am satisfied with the teachers and good infrastructure but dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: About 10% of the students get placements every year. You can also go for off-campus placements. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, L&T Infotech, Cadtech, Wipro, IBM and several others come here for recruiting. Students can apply for internships from applications like Internshala, and our college provides internships in 3rd year. According to your knowledge, you can get any role as it depends on you.

Infrastructure: Many books are available in the library, which you can access at any time. Classrooms are big enough for at least 60-80 students. Laboratories are available for all practical-based subjects and topics, and computer labs also have broadband connectivity. The hostel for 1st-year students is outside the campus, which is about 10 minutes away from college. There are two hostels for freshers in which one is very old, and the other is new. I stayed in the old hostel, but we had a lot of fun. The hostel from the 2nd year is on the college campus, and it is good enough. Purified drinking water is available, and mess food is sometimes good and very bad. Sports and games are organised by seniors. Medical facilities are available, and you can always go for outside accommodations anytime.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. There is always a language factor while teaching as all teachers are Bengali, but they try to minimise this problem. The course curriculum is also relevant, and it is always updated with the modern world. If students are sincere, then they can be industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I think this course provides sufficient knowledge. As it is a practical-based subject, we have a lot of labs indoor as well as outdoor. They can improve this course by adding inventions.

Overall the college is good. Most of the student in our course got placed.

Placements: Approximately 80-85% of students got placements from CSE in the IT sector. Other branches also get placements, but selection only based on coding. In our branch, one company visit our campus and hire only boys, and not girls. So I think the core branches do not get any placement without GATE. The maximum salary package offered is 8 LPA for only 10 students. The average salary package offered ranges between 3-4 LPA. So in our college, we have the only option to get placements is through GATE. Overall college study is good.

Infrastructure: In my college, all books are available, which is suggested by the teacher. Wi-Fi is available, but students do not get that Wi-Fi facility. In the hostel, facilities are good. Canteen is also good. Sometimes food served in the canteen is not satisfied, but overall it is good. Classrooms are also good, and it is equipped with only light and fan. In some classrooms and seminar hall air-conditioned facility is provided.

Faculty: Teachers in our course are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is good, but some teacher does not know how to teach well. All the teachers are good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students' industry-ready. Many students got admission in IIT college through GATE. So I think teachers are very helpful.

Other: I have chosen this course because when I am in 12th, then I got to know about mechanics. I think that the civil course is the only branch which is in mechanics subject. In our course, transportation is the best thing. Events and fests are organised at our college. The campus crowd is good. Scholarships are available. Extracurricular activities are conducted. Now I am preparing for GATE exam to get M. Tech college after that I will search for a job.

The college is a paradise for a hardworking student.

Placements: There is always a good chance to get placed for a hardworking student. If students are focused towards their study, and do regular study and must importantly being loyal to themself, then they will always get success and get placed in a good company.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure available in our college is very good. All the things that are required to become a good engineer are available here. In our college, there are 2 lifts, labs, Wi-Fi facilities, playground, and the library containing all the new edition of books, magazine, etc.

Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified from recognised colleges like IITs and NITs. Their teaching skill is excellent means they taught students on that way in which they can understand very easily. They are very helpful, and they conduct extra doubt class on a regular interval so that students can clear their all queries.

A good college and offers the best environment to prepare for competitive exams like GATE and ESE.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Core companies also visit the campus for placements. The placement rates of CSE and IT departments are satisfactory. The highest salary package offered this year is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and many others visit the campus for placements. About 70%-80% of the students get placed from our college. The college has a placement cell. Some grooming sessions are also conducted.

Infrastructure: The college is located in a good area, and it is situated nearby the railway station connecting mainline Howrah and Delhi. The infrastructure of the college is average. Almost all the laboratories are average, and these are funded by TEQIP-II. The library is good. Students are offered many opportunities to play different sports. The canteen serves food at reasonable prices. Hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys.

Faculty: As this college is affiliated to Burdwan University, good faculty members are available. Most of them are GATE qualified and have completed their M.Tech degrees from IITs and NITs. Most of the faculty members in the civil engineering department scored good ranks in the GATE exam. The syllabus is completely new and good.

Other: A techfest named Utkrisht and a cultural fest named Waltz are organised in our college every year.

This is a government college.

Placements: Placements in the college are not much very good. The placements for the students of civil engineering are very poor. The placements for our seniors batch also were very poor. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest offered was 1.5 LPA. Only CSE, IT, and ECE students get average placements. Here, TCS and some IT-companies visit and offer jobs for some students with low salary package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good. The campus looks huge and is spread over 400-acres. It is under Burdwan University. The Wi-Fi facility is not provided in the college. All the labs and classrooms are not advanced. The library in the college is average. There are medical facilities in the college. Students are not interested in sports and games. The college doesn't take responsibility for organising any sports and games event. The ground in the college is small. All the classrooms are average. Food in the canteen is normal, and the canteen in the college is very small. The condition of the hostel is very poor as the rooms are very dirty and do not provide good food.

Faculty: Here, the teachers are very helpful, qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. Here, HODs of all the departments are good. The teaching quality of almost all the teachers teaches theoretically. There are almost 70 students in one department, and there are six departments in our college. Civil engineering, electrical engineering, CSE, IT, ECE, and AEIE are the courses in the college. They provide good education to the students because from our college, most of the students qualified GATE exam.

Other: Only Vishwakarma puja organised in the 2nd year, tech fest is organised in the 3rd year, and the cultural fest is organised in the 4th year. The campus crowd is normal. The campus surroundings are good. The college does not provide the scholarship. There are no extracurricular activities in the college.

Dissatisfied with the college because of bad placements.

Placements: The placements in our college are very bad. The TPO is not present in our college. We reportedly asked our principal for this, but no action is taken. The college doesn't have a placement cell. A company visited our college, but it has no identity on the website, so students didn't find the company in the given location.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average, but lack of lab assistant hampered a lot. The lab instruments are available, but a maximum of them are damaged and not in working conditions. Computers in the labs are not enough in number, so all the students of a class can't attend the lab at once. Wi-Fi facility is available, but we cannot use them.

Faculty: The teachers are good, but some of them are not helpful. The course curriculum is really effective. The faculty can do anything with your exam paper, so you have to behave well with them.

Somewhat disheartened for campusing condition of college.

Placements: The condition of placements is not so good. Approximately 55% students were placed. The highest package is around 4lakh per annum. The lowest package is about 2.5 Lacs per annum. Karvy India, agrotech pvt ltd. Mainly companies related to call centres come. 0 % of students got internship from college, so no stipend is given. Yes there is a placement cell but always remains closed.

Infrastructure: The condition of labs are satisfactory. There is no any Wi-Fi of college. The benches in classrooms are the worst. The library is good at some extent. There is no any scope of sports and games. Also there is no any provision of medical facility. The food quality of canteen is average.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful. As it is a government funded institute so teachers are recruited on the basis of their intelligence. Offline teaching methods are used. The ratio of teachers with respect to students are 1:12. No I didn't get any industry exposure.

Other: Sometimes events are conducted but not on regular basis. There is no any scholarship scheme for without domicile students.
