The official placement report or brochure is not out yet. However, the University has released the NIRF report 2022 which includes the 2021 placement statistics for various UG and PG courses. Q:   Who is eligible to apply for CDLU's Post-Matric Scholarship?
A: 

The Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) that the students at CDLU can avail of is an inititative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Students belonging to the scheduled castes (SC) and other backward castes (OBC) are eligible to apply for PMS. Applicants must be pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary courses from a recognised institute. Applicants must have a domicile of Haryana and their family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs per annum.

Q:   What is the last date for Chaudhary Devi Lal University Form 2024?

As per official source, CDLU admissions 2024 will be open soon, candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University. The GATE 2025 registrations are open for admission to the M.Tech course and the last registration date without late fee is Sep 26, 2024

Q:   What is the last date for filling CUET application form?
A: 

National Testing Agency commenced the CUET 2025 registration. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2025. The last date for CUET 2025 registration is March 24, 2025 and last date for payment of fee is March 25, 2025. 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

Q:   What is the fee refund policy of CDLU?
A: 

In case a candidate decides to withdraw his/her admission in a particular programme offered at CDLU, the following fee refund conditions will apply:
(i) If a candidate leaves any programme, the entire fee deposited by the candidate will be refunded upto September 30 after deducting processing fee of INR 1000

(ii) If the admission of a student is cancelled by the college, for no fault of his/her, the dues
paid by him/her will be refunded

(iii) Caution money/Security Deposit is refundable if application is received by December 31 of the year of the completion of course.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A: 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

Q:   Is CDLU a government or private university?
A: 

CDLU is a government university established by the Government of Haryana under Act 9 of 2003 passed by the State Legislature. It is accredited with ‘B’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council  (NAAC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities  (AIU). CDLU is approved by the University Grant Commission  (UGC) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Q:   Is there any seat reservation policy followed at CDLU?
A: 

CDLU follows a seat reservation policy as per the guidelines of Haryana government. The reservation policy is as follows:

  • 15% of the seats shall be open/unreserved and will be filled through All India Quota (AIQ) (including Haryana). Out of the 15%  AIQ seats, 10% will be reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
  • Remaining 85% seats are reserved for bona fide residents of Haryana (State Quota) and will be filled up as
    detailed below:
    i) Haryana Open General Open Category (HOGC) - 40% of the State Quota
    ii) Reserved category of Haryana - 60% of the State Quota
    iii) Scheduled Caste (SC) - 20% of State quota
    iv) Backward Classes of Haryana (A) (BCA) - 16% of State quota
    v) Backward Classes of Haryana (B) (BCB) - 11% of State quota
    vi) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) - 10% of State quota
    vii) Differently Abled Persons / Divyang - 3% of State quota
Q:   What is the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024?
A: 

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750.
