    Honest review for engineering.
Placements: The course has just started so the 1st ever batch of the degree will graduate this year. Some students got placed in the 4th year only (off-campus mostly). There are minimal efforts from the university side, so students need to grind on their own for placements.
Infrastructure: The computers are there but no furniture. On paper there should be 3 labs in the department. But there is no proper computer lab in the department which is ironic because literally bachelors in computer science. The classes are okay, and other infrastructure is there.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are not so difficult and designed for students to pass if studied enough. Faculty is okay but mostly it's up to the students on how they are going to study. They shouldn't be dependent much on the teachers but rather on themselves.

Impressed by events and infrastructure at JCDM College of Engineering.
Placements: The placements are not good. The companies that visit the college are small and the number of companies that visit is also small. The highest package was only 2.5 lpa. On the plus side, the college does not provide any internships, and the fees are very affordable, so the ROI is okay.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is very good. Each college has a central garden, labs, libraries, and classrooms with large windows, five fans, and five lights. The Wi-Fi speed is 25 mbps on campus and an impressive 55 mbps in the labs.
Faculty: The faculty at this college is well-educated and experienced. They have a simple teaching style and provide both notes and practical knowledge. The curriculum prepares students for the workplace. The faculty is kind and approachable, and the college offers communication and spoken English classes.
Other: I attended JCDM College of Engineering, and I thought the campus and social life were very good. There were various organizations that organized different events from time to time, such as youth fests, bon voyages, and inter-college competitions. In addition, there was 100% fee remission for SC/ST students, and various scholarships were provided to them.

Our college provides very good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement and internship percentage in our college is low. Students get good placements if they work hard and are passionate about their courses. In 2019, a student got placed with a salary package of 13 LPA in a famous company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It has a big building and a huge green park in front of the building. There are cricket, football, and basketball grounds. Our college supports students in sports. It has its national cricket academy.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderately tough. Teachers do their best to prepare students well for their semester exams. Our college conducts seminars on time for students to gain extra knowledge.

College is average. If you are local and don't want to go away from home, must choose this.
Placements: When I was in college, no placements were recorded there. But when I joined, I came to know that previous batches were placed in companies. There percentages were approximately 80. About packages, it was around 200,000. But during my batch, no placements were recorded there.
Infrastructure: Facilities on the campus are very good. The campus is very huge, just like an NIT campus. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. Library is jam-packed with the relevant books. Wi-Fi is also available, but with limited access. Hostel facilities are average. Mess, canteen, medical and sports facilities are very good as there is a hospital inside the campus and also a cricket stadium is there, where we can practice more and more.
Faculty: Many of the Teachers are very helpful. Many are well qualified like Masters and GATE qualified. Yes, they have very good knowledge and their experience add up more effectively. The course was relevant, but as per my view, students only know the theory, not practical knowledge.

Good infrastructure and facilities like sports games etc., are available.
Placements: Our college offers only a few placement opportunities. But the placements totally depend on students' talents and capabilities. But if you want to get placed in a good company, then go for a better college. This college is useful just to get a degree. I suggest those students who want to start their career in MNCs should not join this college. This college is the best for local students who want to complete their graduation apply for government competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very impressive. The entire campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility. There are separate canteens for every department. Hostel rooms are average. A basketball court is available for all the students. A cricket stadium is also available to conduct sports tournaments. There is a separate library for every department. A huge collection of books are also present there. A big and attractive auditorium is also available, and this auditorium is the main asset of our college.
Faculty: Teaching faculty members in the mechanical department are good. They are highly knowledgeable. I didn't face any issues in this institute. Our faculty are very friendly, and they help the students with their academic problems and project works. All the teaching faculty are well educated, and this is the best aspect of our department. There are separate labs for some subjects, which helps the students to understand the concepts well.
Other: Events and fests are organised regularly in the college. There are huge opportunities for students to participate in campus activities. Scholarships are also given to merit students and some other students who belong to backward communities.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Some startup companies hired students when I passed out from this college. I also got selected in the campus placements. But the overall placements in the core field were less. Companies related to marketing visited the college, and my field was mechanical trade.
Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure with all equipment in labs. All the practical topics were taught by teachers. There were spacious classrooms with a proper hygienic environment. There was a great auditorium where all the cultural events were organised. Various sports activities were also organised which is a very good thing for any college.
Faculty: The faculty members were very helpful, and the regular tests made students learn the topic well. The course was completed in an appropriate time, and there was time for students to revise. To make the learning more interesting, various seminars were held by teachers in which students took part.
