BE at Panjab University is a three-four year course offered in full-time mode which is available in lateral entry. Panjab University BE courses are offered in eight specialisations such as BE in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, etc.
The Panjab University BTech also includes an integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA course with a duration of five years. Panjab University BE admissions are decided on entrance basis. Candidates are selected on the basis of the JEE Mains score. Panjab University BA seats are alloted during JAC Chandigarh Counselling conducted after the results of JEE Mains have been declared.
For BTech lateral entry admissions, candidates can also submit scores of the PU LEET and PU MEET. In order to gain admissions into the Panjab University BE courses, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria tabulated below:

Panjab University Chandigarh BTech is a UG level programme, offered in full-time mode. Panjab University BE Admission Dates 2026
The Panjab University BE admission dates are scheduled after the accepted entrance exam results have been announced. The candidates are selected on the basis of the JEE Mains scores. For lateral entry admissions, candidates are required to appear for the PUMEET exam which is generally conducted in the month of June.
