Central University of Odisha admission to BSc programme is based on CUET-UG score. Once the candidates have appeared for CUET-UG, the university opens counselling registration on CUO Samarth Portal. CUO Odisha offers over 15 courses at UG and PG levels through various schools/ departments. The university offers programmes in multiple streams such as Management, Engineering, Education, etc. The courses include B.Ed, MBA, BSc, MSc, MA, etc. A minimum of Class 12 is required to apply for UG courses whereas, graduation is a must for PG programmes. 

The central university admits candidates to the UG course based on merit in the CUET exam. Hence, the aspirants are required to register for the national-level exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the CUET applications in February. Further, the application window remains open till April. The mentioned timeline is as per the past years' schedule. Hence, is indicative. Following the announcement of CUET results in and around July, the candidates have to register on the CUO Samarth portal for counselling and seat allotment.

There are a total of 226 seats for the BSc integrated and BSc (Hons) courses at the Central University of Odisha. The maximum seat count, i.e., 69 seats each is for the Agriculture and Animal Husbndary and Dairying courses. Then there are 44 seats each for forest management and the BSc + MSc integrated course. The university allot seats for each course on the basis of CUET scores. It must be noted that the mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body.  Candidates are required to apply and take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admission to the UG Integrated programme shall be based on CUET-UG scores. Candidates need to register for admission counselling on the university admission portal after the CUET result declaration. A merit list is then published to announce the names of all the selected students for admission.

STEP 1: Register on the CUO online admission portal

To register for the CUO counselling process visit the official online admission portal of CUO at the CUO-Samarth admission portal (cuocuet.samarth.edu.in) and tap on the "Log in" option by using the credentials of CUET application number, and other details along with the Email ID and a password to open the application form. 

STEP 2: Application Process

After login at the portal, submit all the relevant information and complete the application form after uploading the necessary documents along with the CUET UG result in the prescribed format.
