The Central University of Punjab has a refund policy for academic fees. If a student withdraws before the starting of the program, the entire fee collected will be refunded as per the following details:
- 100% refund if notice of withdrawal is served 15 days or more before the last date of admission
- 90% refund if notice of withdrawal is served less than 15 days before the last date of admission
- 80% refund if notice of withdrawal is served 15 days or less after the last date of admission
- 50% refund if notice of withdrawal is served 30 days or less, but more than 15 days, after the last date of admission
- 0% refund if notice of withdrawal is served more than 30 days after the last date of admission
A processing charge of 5% of the fees paid, subject to a maximum of ₹5000, will be deducted in case of a 100% refund.
For hostel fee refund, if a candidate withdraws/cancels the hostel seat within 30 days after allotment, the hostel fee will be refunded after deducting one month's hostel fee. If a candidate withdraws/cancels the hostel seat after 30 days, only the hostel security money will be refunded.
