Central University of Punjab Scholarships and Funding
University grants fellowships to the students. All the research scholars of M.Phil.- Ph.D. are given fellowship as follows:
1.M.Phil. : Rs. 5,000 per month
2. Ph.D. : Rs. 8,000 per month
In addition, they are also given working contingency:
1. Humanities: Rs. 8,000 per annum
2. Science : Rs. 10,000 per annum
Central University of Punjab MSc fee is around INR 8,000 for two years. At the time of admission, the fee charged from the students includes tuition fee, examination fee, laboratory fee, sports fee, computer and internet fee and many other components. Further, candidates must also pay the CUET PG application fee. The application fee amount will be different as per category/ number of subjects applied by the candidates. Placements: At least 25% of students get placed, and the highest package is 8 LPA along with HRA. Around 75% of students get internships at different institutions in India. Roles offered in our course are assistant professor, biochemistry analyst, industrial work, etc.
Placements: English placements were fairly good. No positions were available in Chemistry, Physics, or any other field. The average starting wage was between 10 LPA and 12 LPA, the minimum was between 2 LPA and 5 LPA, and the maximum was over 15 LPA. Students were losing good agreement after passing the third quarter M.A. with a score of over 92%. Higher-level positions included teacher, secretary, and so forth.
Placements: Placements are something that is lacking in the CUP. There are only few departments that are offering placements and all others don't have any placements. Most of the private companies are associated with the placement cell of CUP and still it needs improvement. There are no placements for the department of Geology.
Placements: Very average on placement, the packages are offered around 20,000 - 40,000 INR. Mainly mines and quarries are recruiting. 60-70% of students are getting internships, and the syllabus is very good for the students who want to get a good job, you have to consider this.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in the college. Half of the students chose to pursue their Masters. The college offered a lot of work. Several companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Google, and some other IT companies visited the university for recruitment. The average salary was about Rs. 15 LPA. 66% of students get employment opportunities. The top roles offered are Statistician, Actuary, and more.
Placements: The college has a good reputation with employers, and more than 80% of students are placed each year. The highest package available is 21 LPA, and the typical package size is 14 LPA. 79% of students receive job prospects. Some of the top recruiters include SGS India, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas. My course offers careers such as Quality Control Analyst and Formulation Chemist.
