Central University of Punjab Course Admissions 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Selection Process

There are two ways to get direct admission in Central University of Punjab for the academic session 2023-24:

• For PG and short term programs you can apply for the open/ direct admission for vacant seat by filling the online registration form and paying the admission fees online. You can check the provisional selection list for various programs on the university website.
• For PhD programme in department of computer Science and technology under vishvesvarya PhD scheme, you can check the provisional result of admission to the university website and follow the instruction given there.

To be eligible for undergraduate admission at Central University of Punjab candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

Applicants must have completed there higher secondary education 10 + 2 from a recognise board. The minimum aggregate percentage required may very depending on the programme chosen.

To be eligible for post graduate admission at Central University of Punjab candidates must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must have completed a Bachelors degree from a recognised university or institution. The minimum required percentage may very depending on the programme chosen.

The admission process for Central University of Punjab is as follows:

1. Visit the university website.
2. Open the application form.
3. Fill up the application form correctly and mention all the required details.
4. Pay the online fees or by demand draft.
5. Submit the application form and keep the application for the copy and pay slip for the future.

According to some sources, the Central University of Punjab (CUP) does not accept GATE scores or other entrance exam scores. However, other sources say that candidates with a valid GATE score are given preference over other applicants.

For M.Tech and M.Pharma courses, students must appear for the CUET-PG/GATE and CUET-PG/GPAT entrance examinations, respectively. Students must also clear the cutoff range for these courses to be eligible for further admission.
