Considering your passion for business, online businesses, and marketing - and your distaste for computers - getting a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Lovely Professional University (LPU) would be a better decision than a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). The specific program at LPU that you may be interested in BBA offers specific areas of emphasis build around your interests such as Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, and International Finance. The emphasis areas focus on business strategies, market analysis, and online business models that create the foundation for a successful career in the business world. The BBA focuses on enabling students the opportunity to develop the practical skills and knowledge needed to be successful in today's digital economy. Conversely, the BCA program has their key emphasis on computer applications, programming languages, and software development. If you have little desire to learn about computers, you may not find the BCA curriculum interesting, and therefore a more difficult program. So, completing a BBA at LPU would represent a better fit with your personal interests, as well as your professional goals to start a career in business and marketing.

There is no entrance exam required to secure admission into B.Sc in Biotechnology at Chandigarh University. Admission is purely on the basis of qualifying marks in class 12th according to eligibility criteria, minimum 50% in 10+2 with relevant science subjects. Yet, if you would like scholarships, taking CUCET would be a smart move. You may stand a chance to catch up to a 100% scholarship based on your score; that would help cut down your fees a lot. But to continue receiving the scholarship, maintaining a CGPA of 7.5 or above is essential. While CUCET is required for courses like Engineering, MBA, Pharmacy, MCA, and Law, it is optional for B.Sc programs. If you're looking for a university that supports merit and student development, I'd surely encourage you to go for Chandigarh University-it's a complete package of academics, innovation, and student growth.

If you have completed a three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 50% marks, you're eligible for admission to the second year of B.E. at Chandigarh University through lateral entry. This helps you save one academic year plus fee. Chandigarh University conducts CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test) for lateral entry which is mandatory for engineering programs. In case you want to avail of a scholarship, you must appear for CUCET. CU provides theory and practical exposure, making it easier to transit smoothly from diploma to degree. If your diploma covers courses in basic science, mathematics, and core subjects, you're good to join directly. However, if it falls short of fulfilling some of these criteria, you may need to do some bridge courses. CU's engineering programs also have global recognition with ABET and NBA accreditations. The placements are great, with top companies like Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, and Wipro recruiting the students. So this makes Chandigarh University an excellent choice for any diploma holder aspiring to go for B.E. through lateral entry.

Chandigarh University offer a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology, which is a four-year course. The course is designed to give students knowledge about how the human mind works. It covers subjects like Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Neuropsychology, Social Psychology and Forensic Psychology. The best part about studying psychology at university is the practical learning. Students get internships in hospitals, mental health clinics, NGOs and forensic departments. Many workshops, seminars and discussions are also organized at the department. The faculty and staff members at CU are really supportive and helpful, they guide you through everything, from cracking interviews, to guiding and making you ready for the real corporate world but at CGC, the faculty is rude and do not even have the proper knowledge of subjects.
