The UID Interior Design course at Chandigarh University is one of the most advanced in the country. It focuses on preparing students to be future-ready professionals. The course includes modern subjects like sustainable interior design, interior product design, and textile interiors. It also offers a flexible exit option after 3 years. The infrastructure is impressive – students work in smart labs, CAD labs, and 3D design labs. There's a big focus on practical learning. In just a few months, the department organized 21 workshops, 19 expert talks, and 20 industry visits. These real-world experiences help students connect classroom learning with industry expectations. The university also supports students by bringing top interior firms to the campus for placements. Their student achievements, like winning design competitions and contributing to international exhibitions, show how active and competitive the programme is. Overall, both the course and the infrastructure are excellent.

I don't know much about BITS admission, but I can explain how to get admission in Chandigarh University. First, choose the course you want to study and visit the Chandigarh University website. Check if you meet the eligibility criteria. For many courses like Engineering, MBA, and MCA, you must appear for the CUCET exam, which is the university's entrance test. CUCET also helps you get scholarships up to 100%. After the exam, the results are sent to your registered email. Usually, you need 50-60% marks in 12th class, depending on the course. Then, visit the campus to submit your documents. You will get confirmation by email or SMS. Finally, fill out the application form and pay the fee online or offline.

Yes, for sure, I can share my thoughts on this. When you're deciding where to pursue B.Tech in CSE, a major factor to consider is how well the university prepares students for real-world industry challenges. While Amity University, Noida, has a solid reputation, I personally feel that Chandigarh University (CU) provides a more comprehensive approach, especially for computer Science students.CU has made a name for itself by focusing on not just theoretical knowledge but also practical, hands-on experience, which is crucial for any CSE student. The university is located in Chandigarh, a city that's known for its IT industry presence, making it an ideal location for students to interact with industry leaders and work on live projects. The proximity to IT hubs ensures that CU students have access to opportunities for internships, training, and placement in top companies. Moreover, CU's campus is equipped with specialised labs for AI, ML, and Data Science, which provide students the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies. This is a key differentiator because Amity's offerings, though strong, don't seem as focused on these rapidly growing fields.Another significant point is the placement record at CU. It's not just about having big names like Google, IBM, and Microsoft visiting the campus for recruitment; it's about the preparation CU provides through internships, industrial visits, and exposure to real-world technologies. All of this contributes to an environment where students are ready for high-paying, top-tier jobs as soon as they graduate.

Chandigarh University has been growing very rapidly and is gaining a lot of awards and recognitions. In law, the university has won The University Institute of Legal Studies Award by Platinum QS I-Gauge and the department has been also ranked #16 among Best Law Private Colleges of India by Outlook. The university also achieved the MAKA trophy awarded by President Droupadi Murmu and has been also ranked No. 1 private university in India in - QS Asia University Rankings 2025 and got the 20th spot in NIRF 2024. Law program is very amazing in Chandigarh University. The law department is not only just about books and classrooms, they have modern infrastructure, a separate library and an auditorium and yes also a Pro Bono Club. This club is like the main attraction of the law department. It's made with support from the Ministry of Law and Justice which spreads legal awareness. Students do workshops, give lectures, and take part in awareness activities. Another thing about the law department which is really interesting is Madhyastha - Centre of Excellence. It's all about solving problems in court. They teach you how to talk and sort things out peacefully. They even show how AI can help in solving fights.

Yes, the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programme is available through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). However, it might not be explicitly listed as "BFA" in the CUET application form. Instead, you should look for domain-specific subjects such as Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Commercial Arts when selecting your subjects in Section II of the application. These subjects correspond to the BFA program.Additionally, it's important to note that not all universities offer BFA programs through CUET. For instance, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers BFA programs and accepts CUET scores for admission. However, Chandigarh University conducts its own entrance exam, CUCET, for BFA admissions. Therefore, when filling out the CUET application form, ensure you select the appropriate domain-specific subjects related to Fine Arts, and verify whether your desired university accepts CUET scores for BFA admissions.

I'm currently a student of UID Industrial Design at Chandigarh University, and honestly, it's been such a great experience for me. The course is designed in a way that helps us learn both creativity and technical skills. What I really like is that we don't just sit and study theory—we do a lot of hands-on work, projects, and practical tasks. The subjects are really interesting, and we get to choose what we want to focus on like Fashion Design, Accessory Designing, or even Lifestyle Designing. The labs and studios here are amazing. We have special spaces for garment making, textile printing, and pattern designing. It really feels like you're working in a professional setup. Plus, our teachers are super helpful—they come from top design schools and have a lot of real-world experience. We also get to go on field trips, do internships, and work on live projects. Big brands like H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, and Monte Carlo come for placements, which is a big plus. We even use cool design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, CLO 3D, and Tukatech. It's been a very creative and exciting journey for me so far.

The semester fee for B.A B.Ed in Chandigarh University is 48000/- INR and the Examination Fee is 2500/- INR and Security fee is 2000/- INR. If we talk in detail then the fees are not too high and if we compare CU with other private universities in India, then fees is really very less and it is much more affordable than many private universities. Everything is super affordable at the university. The tuition fees, exam fees, and everything else are designed so that anyone can afford them. Plus, they offer scholarships which makes fees affordable. To get scholarships firstly you need to pass the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This test is mandatory for your admission. If you score well in CUCET then you can get a scholarship that reduces your fees a lot. Hostel fees at Chandigarh University are super pocket-friendly and the mess fees are also affordable and worth it as food is really tasty and delicious. And you know what the university don't ask for extra money for fests, competitions, or any events on campus. Even transport is super cheap and easy to use and the medical facilities and health care services are also free of cost. The campus also has a medical store which offers a lot of discounts to students.
