Hi, see hostel fees can change as per the semester or new session, therefore I cannot tell you abou the exact hostel fee but yes they are affordable and from my personal experience I am saying hostel life at CU is the bestest one, you get to learn a lot, compromise a lot, you make new connections, study together, eat together and even have fun together, it's like your own new family. For those who don't know, there are separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities. The rooms are clean and have AC and non-AC options. Students can choose single, double, or multi-sharing rooms as per their needs. The hostel mess serves fresh and hygienic food and the food is prepared on a rotational menu and each day there are some different cuisines. There are also food courts, night canteens and tuck shops for snacks and other essentials. Drinking water coolers are also clean and hygiene is well maintained. The hostel has Wi-Fi, common rooms with TV, music rooms also where I really used to enjoy a lot. The best part is hostels are near the academic buildings, making it easy to reach classes on time. In terms of safety and security, all the parents need not to worry as there are CCTV cameras, guards and proper entry and exit rules and formalities.

They have labs with Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM, so students don't just study theory but also work on the latest technologies. If you are planning to take admission at Chandigarh University, then you are at the right track, as the university is really the bestest university and now about the course, so I would like to clarify to you that the university doesn't offer B.Tech, they offer B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering). Telling you about the admission process, for engineering you have to give Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This test is mandatory for your admission. If you score well in CUCET then you can get a scholarship that reduces your fees a lot. The university gives Rs. 170 Crores worth of scholarships for lots of courses in different fields. The scholarship details for CUCET 2025-26 are like if you get 90.01 to 100 Marks, you will get 100% scholarship, student getting 80 to 90 marks will get 50% scholarship and student with 70 to 79.99 marks will get 40% scholarship and so on. When students pass CUCET, they can get a scholarship but to keep it the scholarship maintained students need to meet certain rules. The most important thing is the CGPA. At the end of every year, students must have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 to renew the scholarship. This pushes students to do well in studies and keep their focus. Not only scholarships, the university is top notch in several factors such as modern technology and infrastructure, supportive faculty, practical curriculum and stellar placements too.
