Choosing a university is a very big decision. It decides the future, career, and life. Many people get confused when picking between LPU and Chandigarh University, both are good universities but then also there are some small points which make the difference. As far as I know, LPU is one of the biggest universities. It has many courses, international tie-ups and modern infrastructure. The campus is huge, and the university promotes global learning. But some say it focuses more on promotions than real quality. Placements are good, but mass recruitment is common and high-package jobs are rare.As far as I know, in CU for MCA, students are given options to choose specializations like System Programming, Database Management, Web Designing, Networking and Artificial Intelligence. This programme is focused on making students industry-ready with skills in Cloud Computing, JAVA, Android Apps, Oracle, PHP, .NET, CISCO, and many more the latest technologies. Even the department also has in-house industry-sponsored labs that help students in getting real practical experience. Also, the faculty is trained and experienced, and students get guidance from industry experts too and they also offer the highest placements in top companies like Microsoft, Red Hat, Google Android, etc. Rest, it depends totally on you.

If you're trying to decide between Chandigarh University (CU) and SRM University for CSE, here's a personal take based on what I've seen and heard from fellow students.Chandigarh University is known for its industry-aligned curriculum, especially in Computer Science. They offer specialised CSE programs in AI & ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and more—with collaboration from top industry leaders like IBM and Microsoft. What's nice is that CU's curriculum includes project-based learning and industry internships right from early semesters. Plus, the placement stats for CSE are strong, with students getting placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and Deloitte.CU also has modern labs, a lot of coding competitions, hackathons, and even international exposure through semester exchange programs. Another thing to note is their CUCET scholarship, which can make things more affordable if you score well.So personally, I'd lean toward Chandigarh University for CSE—it blends academics, industry exposure, and placements pretty well.

Hi, I don't have any idea about the other universities but I can tell you about Chandigarh University as I know about many close friends of mine who have passed from Chandigarh University and they had a wonderful experience there. This university can be a better choice for you as CU is amazing for CSE programs. I wanna tell you that CU offers B.E. in CSE not B.Tech. The B.E. CSE department at CU is really very interesting, unique and curriculum is modern as per industry requirements and it is also accredited by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredited which means that your degree will be recognised globally. The dept has great labs like the Microsoft Innovation Center, Google Android Lab, and Cisco Networking Lab etc. where you get o work on real projects and use advanced software like AutoCAD and ETABS. These labs help students learn about the latest tech and prepare for jobs. Here CSE placements are also excellent. Top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google etc. come here and the highest package was INR 54.75 LPA in India and INR 1.7 crore globally.

Chandigarh University has become a top contender in the field of MBA education, especially in terms of its practical approach to learning. From what I've experienced and researched, the university provides a dynamic and industry-focused MBA curriculum. One of the things I appreciate is how their MBA programs are designed to address current industry needs. For example, they offer niche programs like MBA in Fintech with NSE and MBA in Business Analytics with IBM, which are highly relevant in today's technology-driven business world. These specialised programs help students gain the skills needed to thrive in specific fields. Moreover, the university offers dual specialisations, which is great for those who want to broaden their skill set. Whether you're looking to mix Marketing with HR or Finance with Entrepreneurship, this flexibility helps you carve a unique career path. CU is ranked #4 in Business and Management by QS World University Rankings 2025 and #36 in NIRF for business and management, which adds to the credibility of its MBA programs. I'd say if you're looking for a well-rounded MBA experience that prepares you for the real world, CU is definitely worth considering.

Between Chandigarh University (CU) and Amity University Jaipur, CU stands out in terms of placements for B.Tech in CSE. I'm honestly grateful to CU—thanks to the strong support system, industry exposure, and well-planned training sessions, I landed a great job in a top MNC with a high package.CU doesn't offer B.Tech/B.E. in CSE but a B.E. in CSE, which is more technical and industry-focused. The university is ABET and NBA accredited, ensuring international standards in engineering education. The CSE department hosts regular hackathons, live projects, and tech events, helping students apply their knowledge practically.CU also has strong ties with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Deloitte, and many others, leading to excellent placement opportunities with impressive packages. Plus, the campus life is vibrant with diverse students, clubs, and cultural activities. So, if you're aiming for top placements and hands-on learning, CU is definitely a better choice.

My cousin had the same dilemma when he was deciding between Chitkara University and Chandigarh University for his CSE degree. After researching and talking to seniors, he finally chose Chandigarh University, and he says he's so glad he did. The university's recognition is impressive—it's ranked #120 in QS Asia University Rankings 2025 and #231 globally in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 for Engineering & Technology. The fact that its programs are ABET and NBA accredited gives our family confidence in the quality of education. But what really set CU apart was the placement record. The campus is visited by top global companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Reliance Industries. We've seen his seniors land amazing jobs with offers up to Rs 54.75 Lacs per year. One of the most inspiring things he learned was that a CU student received an international package of Rs 1.7 crore. The university's focus on skill development and practical experience was a huge draw for him. Overall, we feel his future is much brighter here.

Hello there, When considering the NIRF 2021 rankings for engineering, Lovely Professional University (LPU) secured the 66th position, while Chandigarh University (CU) was not listed in the top 100 for that year . This indicates that LPU had a stronger performance in the engineering category according to the NIRF 2021 data.In the overall university rankings for 2021, LPU was placed at the 81st position, whereas CU achieved the 77th rank . While CU had a slight edge in the overall rankings, LPU's specific strength in engineering is noteworthy, especially for a student aiming to pursue Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). LPU's consistent emphasis on industry-aligned curricula, extensive research opportunities, and robust placement support makes it a compelling choice for CSE aspirants. The university's commitment to providing practical exposure and fostering innovation ensures that students are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the tech industry.I hope this helps.

I am a B.Sc. Microbiology student at Chandigrah University and I can say that the placements are acutually pretty good if you're serious about building a carrer in this field. The university has strong industry tie-up, especially through the University Institute if Biotechnology and Bioscience .During our course study, we get to go internships, research projects, and attend various industrial visits, which really helps in understanding how the industry works. In terms of placements, many students get placed in companies like Allele Life Science (Noida), Pharmalnstinct Pvt. Ltd (Chandigrah), and Oniosome Pvt. Ltd (Mohali). These are well known names in the biotechnology and microbiology sector. Apart from that, there are also various options in pharamaceuticals, food and beverage industries, hospitals, research labs and even environmental agencies. The best part is the course doesn't just focus on theory. We have hand on training in advanced labs with equipment like fermenters, HPLC, microscopes and more. Plus, We get training in soft skills and communication to prepare for job interviews. So overall, the career scope and placement support are solid, especially if you want to go into research or industry work right after graduation.
