Campus chronicles- An honest take on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University .
Placements: 2022 batch from the life sciences department: B.Sc. Zoology (hons) I opt for; almost 7% of students are placed in our department. The other courses they offer for B.Sc.'s are biotechnology, microbiology, and bioinformatics. The highest package offer in our course is up to 8 lakhs, and the lowest is up to 1 lakh twenty-five thousand and the companies are Organica Biotech, Wellness forever and technologies related to our course.
Infrastructure: The teachers are available for assisting students in doubts regarding the topics. All the floors are equipped with Wi-Fi and library, and the classrooms are not fixed regularly for classes; it's random. The labs are not fully equipped with lab tools, and for experiments we have to bring the lab materials on our own. The hostel is within the campus and the facilities are only limited because of the poor management. The hospital is within the campus.
Faculty: The semester exam fee is like 1k and at least 15% of the semester exams should be paid for appearing for the 1st-semester exam. The same exams are conducted prior to 4 months of teaching, included by the internal exam between two months. The teachers are mostly qualified with PhD's and are experts in teaching towards their specialized subject, providing students with innovative ideas to approach and learn about the subject they teach. The average passing percentage is 33% for the sem exams.
Other: I chose this course in order to explore and learn the biodiversity of the various animals and specimens and the ecosystem of our environment. The best thing about my course is that it is present in abundance in our surroundings, and the practical part of this course is the most fun and informative when it comes to learning animal morphology. This course could be better if the professor focused on practical knowledge more than the theory classes. The big event is mostly a freshers party where the Bollywood celebs are the chief guests, and it's hosted for 3 days with different themes.

It had good placements and faculty. Infrastructure was decent with scope for practical improvements.
Placements: In 2023, about 60% of BSc students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro recruited from our course. About half of the students secured internships in reputed companies like Reliance and Tata Chemical. Roles offered are like laboratory technician and research assistant.
Infrastructure: BSc department has good infrastructure, including modern laboratories and large library. Classrooms were spacious but lacked air conditioning. Hostel facilities were decent with clean rooms and basic mess food. Medical support and sports facilities were available and helpful for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in BSc programme were knowledgeable and approachable. They ensured practical understanding through lab sessions. Curriculum was updated and useful for both academic and industry pursuits. Exams were challenging but manageable with most students passing.
Other: I chose BSc for its balance of theory and practical learning. Experienced faculty and placement support were highlights. But, I believe the programme could benefit from more practical training and exposure to industry internships.

Amazing college campus with good seniors and faculty members.
Placements: As I have completed my first year, I am not very aware of the placement scenario, but according to my seniors, the university provides placements that may not be very worthwhile for engineering students. However, students in Pharmacy and Law have good opportunities. Companies like Tata and Infosys do visit our college.
Infrastructure: Our university infrastructure is good with labs and classrooms equipped with Wi-Fi. We have a central library that is excellent for studying. Regarding the hostel, as my friends tell me, the food is okay, but there are some rules that must be followed. However, compared to the fees, it may not be worth it.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly towards all students. They are knowledgeable and their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is easy to learn, but it may not be as comprehensive as needed for the corporate world. With lots of competition outside, we must be extraordinary to succeed. Semester exams are not very difficult; an average student can easily score well.
Other: Regarding the university campus, I would say it is amazing. All the seniors and faculty members are very good. Those who want to enjoy their college life can truly find it here. However, from a career perspective, it may not be very beneficial. Those who just need a degree may consider coming here.

Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: There are around 8 students in our course. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Our seniors have not passed out because this course started 2 years back. Top roles offered are interior designer, consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is still under construction. Good facilities are provided. They should make the infrastructure better in the upcoming period because the more it appears good, the more facilities they can provide.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average. Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. If we practice and learn, we can get help from teachers. Semester exams are difficult. Two semester exams are conducted in a year. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Trips and industrial visits are very good in this college. The university is still working on its infrastructure.

The university had good admissions in 2021and 22.
Placements: The placement in the college is average. There is not above 10 LPA package till now. Most of the placements are in MBA, Chemistry and also in journalism, etc. The University started in 2018 so it will take some time to get a good placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good but the hostel is very high. The hostel contains different rooms like AC triple share, AC double share, non AC triple share and non AC double share. This facility is for both girls and boys and the food in average in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and they explain very well. The faculty has good manners and they help the students in many ways. They provide helpful information and behave in a friendly manner.

Placements: This is college is amazing and there placements are very big companies attached to him in basically 60-65% also placed in course
The top recruiting companies are like cephla etc.
The student got all semester high inter that can college give him best internship companies .
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very beautiful and clean and hostel also clean
Library have a lot of various books and classrooms are daily clean, the hostel is very big and food giving totally hygiene and that are very nice, other college have hostel food problem but this college have fokd quality is very nice.
Faculty: Faculty every member helpful and motivating to students and other activities, every teacher are higher Qualified and knowledgeable and teaching quality is very simple

College is not good its just good on the website. They are making us fool.
Placements: 60% of students were placed in my course. The highest package of my course is around 7 to 8 LPA and the lowest package is about 4 to 5 LPA. Companies recruiting for my course are Airtel, Tata and many more. University is located at Shedung toll plaza which is not in Navi Mumbai.
Infrastructure: Everything is not good because of the management. We don't have access to facilities like gym or television or things like that. The hostel management are not concerned all the time. University is located at Shedung toll plaza. It's not in Navi Mumbai. The panel is very far form here like 6-7 km away.
Faculty: The faculty members and teaching quality are not up to the mark. But exams & curriculum is well and good as the university being approved by UGC. The difficulty level of the exams are good. University is located at Shedung toll plaza which is not located in Navi Mumbai.
Other: Ah! nothing is that good that I'll share.
