The statistics for the 2023 drive are not released yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out, according to which 1,690 UG and 702 PG students were placed during Chitkara University placements 2022. Chitkara University BArch Admission 2023

Chitkara University offers a five-year full-time BArch programme at the undergraduate level. Admission to BArch is based on candidates' performance in NATA entrance exam. Recognised by the Council of Architecture, this program offers students a perfect amalgamation of theoretical and practical study. Given below is the minimum eligibility criteria of the course along with BArch fees:

A blend of rollercoaster life of college with bittersweet experiences.

Placements: Chitkara University consistently achieves an impressive placement rate, with over 90% of graduating students receiving job offers before graduation. Their alumni have gone on to hold prominent positions in various industries. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Google, Airtel, HCL, and many more participate in the placement drive. The highest salary offered is INR 40 LPA with an average of INR 8.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Multiple collaborative design studios equipped with the latest design software, high-performance workstations, and cutting-edge technology. Dedicated space for large-scale model making, prototyping, and fabrication. Extensive collection of books, journals, theses, and other resources. The university operates a central mess facility that caters to the dietary needs of the hostel residents.

Faculty: Faculty is approachable, kind, and accommodating, and fun to interact with. 90% of the faculty are actively involved in the market and can guide really well on how to work in this field. Placements: Placements are provided on a merit basis. We should have the knowledge and confidence to get placements. Experts conduct extra sessions about software, etc. They help us to get placements.

Infrastructure: Blocks are designed as per the needs. The interior is good. Students who use wheelchairs face difficulty because there is no ramp or elevator.

Faculty: We will have less time to prepare for exams. There is a hectic schedule for architecture students. Our teachers conduct classes. They provide assignments. They arrange industrial visits. They are good, friendly, and supportive. They provide exposure.

Other: Our college conducts events, extracurricular activities, fests, and concerts regularly.

My experience at chitkara university is lovable and I will suggest everyone to go there.

Placements: No student is got placement in this course, you have to make portfolio of your work and then go to the companies on your own and than they will hire you according to your skills. Starting package is from 30,000 and varies according. Top recruiting companies are ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS, HAFFIZ CONTRACTOR, ZAFFAR ARCHITECTS. Each and every student get internship in higher and lower companies according to their skill. But everyone is get internship for sure. Top roles offered by this course are project manager, assitant architect, urban planner, landscaped architect etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities they have provided is more than average. Wi-Fi connections are poor but now they are progressing. There is no lab instead of it studios are provided. Library is also is in good condition, you can get everything you want in the library to read. Hostel facilities are also perfect. The nightingale hostel is the bestest hostel of the whole university. Before it was a girls hostel and now it is converted to boyz hostel of marine department. The food in mess is average. No comment on it. But they have provided the best food in canteen. The medical facilities are poor but the sports and games facilities are best. They have provided a sportorium for games.

Faculty: Yes the teachers are helpful qualified and knowledgeable. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and the industry and growing india demands architect more and more. There is as such no difficult while giving exam. Whatever they taught you and you get the things well only and only then you will get good marks.

Other: I don't know why I chose this course. But I am not regreting while learning it. The best course and I love my decision to study it. The best thing about my course is you will get small amount of introduction or you can say you can learn small thing about everything existed on this earth. I wish to improve and I want to say this to teachers that they should provide practical knowledge to us more than theoretical part. Vast fest and more events are organised by our college. And there is more extracurricular activities in this college. Like they made club of every hobby interest one should have.

It is the best college with the management and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good. Internships are regularly given to talented students who are good at their skills. After internships, placement opportunity is good. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA and the average salary package is 9.5 LPA. I recommend students to take admission to this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well maintained. It has good sports facilities. Classrooms are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and proper sockets and are well-maintained. Libraries are well-equipped. Sports infrastructure is good and well-equipped. Mess is good and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified in their subjects. The course curriculum is good. Exams are organised frequently which is problematic for some students. The course curriculum is relevant. It is praised by the visitors. Our college works with top companies.

Other: Fests are regularly organised in our college. Fun activities organised are boxing, standup comedy, and sports tournaments.

Review of Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture, Chitkara University, Chandigarh.

Placements: Our department has 100-120 students, and they are further divided into sections of 40-50 students per class. Internships are provided in the 4th year, and all the students are placed in our course.

Infrastructure: Every department in Chitkara University has its IPN address, so the campus is fully Wi-Fi accessible. Our university has two libraries, one being exclusively for architecture and interior design students and faculty members. Central library is open to all. Classrooms are high-tech. Projectors, blackboard, and whiteboards are also available. The hostels are well-maintained, and are hygienic. We can also roam in the hostel, mess, corridors, etc. The food served in the mess is good.

Faculty: Teachers are Ph.D. scholars. They are very friendly with students. The pass percentage is 40%, and the semester exams are difficult.

Other: Events are conducted in our college.

It is one of the best universities in North India.

Placements: Our university claims 100% placements for students but most students get placed in mass recruitment. Top recruiting companies that come to our university are Amazon, Google, and Wipro. We have a learn programming, full-stack development, and many more things in this course. The highest salary package offered in our university goes like 25 LPA - 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered in mass recruitment is 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels at our university are not so good. Even the crowd is not good. Wardens of our hostel are not very understanding and treat students in a very ill manner way. There are very unnecessary inappropriate restrictions. The infrastructure is fine.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful. They all are well qualified for the job. Teachers here are top-notch. The degree makes us industry ready though we have to learn a few things ourselves which is quite appropriate as the job will not be placed on a platter for us.

Other: The university is not what I expected it to be. But still, I like it as I have adapted to the surroundings.

The Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture B.Arch fees is yet to be revealed for the 2026 session. In 2025, the total tuition fee was INR 9.6 Lacs and the ETS/CAS fees was INR 40,000. Candidates are required to pay the ETS/CAS fees as admission fees during the end of the admission process.
