Worth the Money and Average Placements.

Placements: I really wish the placement cell is more active, with more involvement from faculty members. Moreover, students are left on their own and have to approach companies themselves to get internships. In the most recent placement batch, almost all students get placed, but only through their own efforts.

Infrastructure: Now, this is the good part, the hostel is good, and the mess facilities are decent at best. The workshop has all the basic equipment, but items used, like wood and thermocol, have to be supplied by students themselves, along with the additional cost and travel and arranging transport to bring them to the college workshop.

Faculty: The faculty members are good - pretty knowledgeable, but still leaves a lot to be desired. I wish we were taught more in line about current trends and prototyping technologies like 3D Printing, etc. The Course curriculum is exhaustive and good, but of course, feels a bit date.

I am not so satisfied with faculty members, and placements are not there.

Placements: 10% of students are placed. There are no recruiting companies that offer junior interior designer roles in my course. The highest package offered is Rs. 18,000, and the lowest is Rs. 4,000. Only 10% get internships due to the smaller number of students. There are no placements, and campus life is very boring.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus are pretty good and well-maintained. Wi-Fi facility is available, and there is a library and canteen are available. The infrastructure for the course is decent, not good, but there are huge spacious classrooms with proper ventilation and sunlight. However, desks are not good, and the seating is not proper. There is no proper management, no computer labs, and no proper facilities. However, the college has a cricket stadium, which is one of the biggest.

Faculty: The curriculum is relevant, but the teaching quality is not so good due to a smaller number of faculty members. This does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are average, not too difficult, but they focus more on theory and viva with less emphasis on practicals. Exams consist of mid-sem and end-sem only.

Other: I chose interior design as a course here, but there are no proper facilities, no faculty members, and no time management. The college management is not too good, it is slow and can be improved a lot. Many events do happen, and they are good, but there are no transportation facilities available. The crowd is also less. The surrounding area is good is peaceful, but there are few extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 75% of students got placed through campus. The highest salary is Rs 10,000, and the lowest salary is Rs 5,000. Live Space, Asian Paints, and IKEA are recruiting companies. Nearly 85% of students got internships in good firms with good packages. Roles offered are interior designer, design consultant, space planner, and project coordinator.

Infrastructure: Departments are offered well-equipped design studio, CAD labs, model making workshop, high-speed Wi-Fi, good library, and smart classroom. The library is stocked with design journals, books, and resources. Hostel facilities are clean, secure, and comfortable offering a peaceful environment for students. The mess provides hygienic food with decent variety. The canteen provides additional snacks. Medical facilities are provided on campus. Sports facilities are provided for both indoor and outdoor games to encourage athletes and physical activities.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and experienced in the field and making. They provide interactive and industry training. The curriculum emphasizes both creative and technical skills through hands-on assignments, workshops, and software training. Semester exams are fair and high pass percentage of 90%. They encourage consistent learning and excessive pressure.

Other: I chose interior design because of my passion for creating functional and aesthetic design that influences people to design their homes. The chances to learn industry-relevant skills like AutoCad, Sketch-up, and more. Faculty members are supportive and helpful. The campus environment is vibrant and full of energy. We have every culture and design-based activities.

The college is good and beautiful.

Infrastructure: The hostel is on the college campus. They also have very good facilities like Wi-Fi, good canteen food, 24X7 hot water, and many more activity areas. We also have TV room. Most of the students are likely to stay in a hostel as they enjoy their campus very much. The facilities are very good. This is college DY Patil University which is located in Talegaon. The campus is also very much beautiful.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. There are also good industry visits happening in college. We have many good software skilled faculty members. Many more experienced faculty members are there for workshop areas for making model and prototype. There are very good faculty members and they treat their students like their kids. The teaching knowledge is also very much good.

Placements: We are just 6 of them but this becomes a plus point as students are just a handful. Faculty members would give personal attention to the students which helps a lot. Our college didn't offer any of the facilities for internships. We are asked to search for companies for internships which is a task.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are provided. Hostel is well maintained, but has a few restrictions. Canteen food is pretty good. Sports and games I am not really interested.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful during the course. They are always ready to help. The course is quite interesting as the curriculum makes students ready for the outside industry. Juries are held at the end of semester in which internal and external faculty members criticise and judge the work of students which makes students grow more. Professors are knowledgeable and willing to help, making the learning process interesting in the initial years.

Other: I chose interior design as I was curious about building a place for people of their dreams. I got the best friends and classmates due to this course. Faculty member's involvement and encouragement would make it more beneficial. Events are held early on university level, and for the festivals we enjoy a lot.
