On Highlights
Q:   What is the eligibility for BCom in Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya?
A:

The eligibility for BCom at DAVV is Class 12 from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate. Other than this, all candidates have to appear for the CUET UG exam to get admissions. The seats are allotted through a counselling process conducted by university on its official website.

Q:   Can a student get admission to DAVV without CUET?
2thumbs up
A:

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

Q:   Does DAVV require CUET?
A:

Admission into DAVV Indore for the year 2025 is based on the CUET exam.  NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2024 Application Form in the 1st week of January 2025. Admission into various programmes such as BVoc, MPharm, MVoc, and Diploma programmes does not require taking the CUET exam.

Q:   Is DAVV Indore better than IIIT Bhopal?
A:

DAVV Indore and IIIT Bhopal are both significant in their own aspects. The comparison can be drawn based on several factors like tuition fees, placement packages, courses offered, etc. The choice can be made on the basis of the candidate's requirements.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities in the college. The classrooms are very nice, and labs have sufficient computers and space. The library has many books, and Wi-Fi is available. The college does not have a hostel. The quality of food in the canteen is pretty nice. Medical and sports facilities are good.

Just for a nominal purpose to achieve a degree without going to college.
Placements: There are a lot of students in the same course as mine in my college, but none of them attends the college regularly or has any interest in the college activities. There are no placements in my college. I've joined the same because I'm pursuing CA, and because I don't have to depend on college for my placement.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, library, or even sports playground. Also they do not offer any mess or canteen services. It is just like a square-shaped building of 2 floors in which the ground floor is occupied by manufacturers and the 1st floor is for study purposes having only 8 to 10 classrooms.
Faculty: I mean, no one goes to college as I said, so I don't know anything about the faculty members. But I've given the exams, and as a CA student, I personally have not felt that the exams are difficult. They are just like the testing of my basics. If we talk about the course, it is relevant somewhere.
Other: As I said I'm pursuing CA alongside my college, so I just chose this college and course because that's easy for me. I don't want the burden of minimum attendance.

Infrastructure: Our college provides well-maintained classrooms, advanced laboratories, good library resources, and functional hygienic cafeteria facilities. It provides a safe and positive environment, including student-friendly initiatives, extracurricular activities, and a good experience.
Faculty: Teachers are also helpful and friendly, helping in every condition. The course is very good, helps in placement and makes students job-ready. The college takes exams on a yearly basis, not in semesters. The pass percentage is also good. Teachers work with students. There is a very good environment.
Other: I chose B.Com because I want to become a tax expert. The best thing about this course is that it is not that hard. I want to improve the infrastructure. Generally, events take place like the freshers' and farewell.
