"Doon University: Absolutely perfect, professional faculty, yearly sports competition at AIU level.
Placements: In B.Sc. economics, there are good packages for students. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Maruti, Adobe, and Hitachi are some companies which provided placements in recent years. Every year, around 10% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: Doon University has great infrastructure including the biggest library in Uttarakhand, many labs for science students, 1,000 classrooms, a campus with Wi-Fi, etc. The hostel has cameras for safety purposes. The food quality is very good. There is a gym for boys and girls in the respective hostels.
Faculty: Doon University has well-qualified faculty members for students which are efficient for skill development and knowledge development of students. Our faculty members provide job-ready information and skills to students to make them industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose B.Sc. economics because there are highly qualified and professional faculty members which makes economics interesting. The course lacks internships in the 2nd year of the course because internships are only available in the 3rd year. Doon University organises several fests throughout the year like Youth Fest, Annual Fest, Diwali Fest, Holi Fest, and many more.

DOON UNIVERSITY IS A STATE University of Uttarakhand located in Dehradun.
Placements: If you can grab placement on the basis of your own hard work, then come here. Although placement for the language department is quite decent, you can expect 3-7 LPA at max. If you want a good package, you need to work on yourself to improve your skills by yourself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Quality of roads and buildings, library, computer labs, and other laboratories are good. Also, the very well-maintained campus is full of lush greenery. There are so many plants and trees with so many dogs and other animals. Overall, campus life is good at Doon University.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, but some are not. But you can get help from your seniors. Seniors are very helpful and supportive, at least for my department (Eco Honors). Rest I can't say. Also, if you issue a book from the library, you can get any book related to your course.
Other: If you want a degree from a government college in minimal fees and want to enjoy college life, it is the best college for you. And also, if you want to prepare for any exam, then it is again a great place.

Good knowledgeable teachers.
Placements: There were about 50-60 students who were enrolled in this course. There is a very low chance of any placement in this course. I would suggest if you are just knowledge-oriented, you may apply for this course in our college, but no guarantee of placement.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. The library of our building is very nice and provides a self-issue or return facility. There are many sports and games facilities here, and there's a huge ground. Many tournaments happen. The canteen's menu has many food items and is good to go.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are just awesome. They listen to us and clear our doubts no matter how many times we ask. Exams are not so easy, nor so hard. It depends on students how much they stay attentive in class.

All things about this college are perfect.
Placements: The placement cell of the department is nice and good. More than 50% of students were successfully placed in different companies. The top recruiting company for this course is Amazon. The department also gives small tasks to students such as campaigns, etc., so that students try to gain experience and also earn money.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is nice here. The mess provides good quality food, and also it is cooked and served under proper hygiene conditions with all precautions. There is a huge library in which there are a lot of books for students to read as per their interest. The classrooms are always clean, tidy and are properly ventilated.
Faculty: The teachers here are helpful and knowledgeable. They take full care of the students so that students can learn good things and easily. For the teaching quality, I would give a rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars as the teachers are very much supportive of students. The semester exams are not very tough. The pass percentage of our class is more than 80%.

Doon university is good for those student who actuallt don't want any stress and restriction.
Placements: Doon university is the government university. In 2023 the highest package of placement was 13lakh and 20 to 25 students are selected in top companies. Every Economics students have to do internship after 4th semester for remove the one subject and getting good marks and Certificate.
Infrastructure: In Doon university have a permanent faculty. Doon university is specialized for language courses. The infrastructure of doon university is like parliament cleanlyness and naturefull. Hostel are divided into two one for girls and another for boys and also provided good connectivity of wi-fi.
Faculty: In doon university all teacher are qualified with Ph.D. And also go other university for teaching perpose and extra curriculum activity. All teacher are helpful. Doon university made their in their paper inside only and the passing percentage are atleast 5cgp.
Other: I choose my course because I am interested in economics. The seminar provide us lot of knowledge and for improving the skills they provide to do survey as a knowledge and pay income according to your skills.

Every thing is good except placement.
Placements: There isn't any placement as my course us recently added. But the university is best known for language school as it was inspired by the JNU I guess, and I think there is even placement at language school and they do even offer like tests for board studies after that I think school of management has placement and there is no dress code which is both good and bad for some but there are exception also like school of management and school of technology the have there dress code.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good but the whiteboards is all black in the corners, and the bathroom of library building is no good at economics side of classroom and there is an separate building for school of management and there is Nityanand building also including of Geography and geology department. And as for the hostel facilities there are 2 girls hostel and one boys but they are no sufficient for all the students. And the give hostel on the distance base if you are from another state they will give you hostel and if you are from another district of Uttarakhand they will not. And I have heard from some of my friends that the hostel Wi-Fi don't work well. But the nature and surrounding and infrastructure is good of the campus it's all filled with greenery.
Faculty: The faculty is good they teach very well and the exam is also well conducted. Like there is an academic calendar released on the start of year and all the exams classes and holidays are set according to that. There is even an entrance exam for admission as it's a state government university. You need to have that exam and then wait for the merit list and there don't have your attendance lower then 75% or else you'll be debarred.
Other: Yes, there used to be fests, events, selection before I took admission now there isn't anything but there was IGAAS BAGWAL which they celebrated.

Worth of money good infrastructure no placement.
Placements: About 50 students were placed in our course. There is no placement in our course as fas as I know. But there is little bit chances in ONGC. We are still studying and are in first year so don't know much about it. Over all it is good and will recommend it to others if their concern in good knowledge.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. There is a large library in our building which provides self return and issue facility. There are sitting arrangements also. The classrooms are also good. Am a day scholar so don't know much about hostel and many sports and games are available.
Faculty: The teachers are very good here. Their teaching skills are awesome. They are helpful. Qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of their teaching is best. They clear our doubts. Put their full effort. The exams difficult differ from person to person.

It is best college of India and Doon itself ,I recommend everyone to be a part of this university
Placements: Fees is13k per semester and 150000 per year. Best companies that offer high job are Mumbai companies. I don't know about the names. Best teachings is given in this course. No need of any roles in this topic. I am satisfied with the course.
Infrastructure: Classroom facility is available with best infrastructure and highly made furniture used. Wi-Fi facilities, a big library is there for all the students. All types of facilities like medicine, canteen, good mess area are there. Best sports are played here, best facilities for sports too.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and teaching quality is good. Best teaching is done here, students enjoy learning things here. It is very relevant to industry purposes as it helps in industry in various ways. It solves all the industry's economics problems. Pass percentage is 30.
Other: Because I want to learn about economic system that is why I chose this course.
