The duration of the BRAOU Certificate programmes is six months. The maximum duration to complete the course is one year.

Dr BR Ambedkar Open University admit candidates to MBA programme on the basis of merit in ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test conducted by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. BRAOU offers more than 25 UG, PG, PG Diploma and certificate programmes in different streams of Arts, Science, Management, etc. At the UG level, the University offers three-year BA, BSc, BCom and other courses to students, while the university offers MA, MSc, MBA, B.Ed, MLISc, etc. programmes at the postgraduate level. Further, BRAOU also offers several PG diploma, certificate programme along with MPhil and PhD courses at the doctoral level.

The total tuition fee for the BRAOU BSc programme is INR 7,700. Additionally, candidates also need to pay a Science practical fee of INR 1,200 for each subject per annum. The fee mentioned here is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative. For a detailed fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of the University.

Candidates have to submit a few documents for admission confirmation. These documents are used for verification purposes. Some of the documents to be kept handy during BRAOU course admissions are:

• SSC/School Leaving Certificate (TC) is required for Name, Father Name, and Date of Birth Verification
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• Bachelor's degree and mark sheets (for PG courses)
• Passport-size photograph
• Aadhaar card or another valid identity proof

The minimum eligibility for BSc at BRAOU dictates that candidates must pass Class 12 with science stream or must have work experience of one year in some Science & Technology organisation. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University to apply online.
