Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi, Kashmere Gate Scholarships and Funding

University gives merit-based scholarships to students. Applications for these scholarships are invited in each semester.

The gross annual family income ceiling (slab-wise) for availing tuition fee-waiver from the economically backward students (other than SC, ST and PwD), is given below:

-100% Tuition Fee waiver Whose Family Have Gross Annual Income Of Rs 3 Lakh or below
- 75% Tuition Fee waiver Whose Family Have Gross Annual Income Of Rs 4 Lakh or below, but more than Rs 3 lakh
- 50% Tuition Fee waiver Whose Family Have Gross Annual Income Of Rs 5 Lakh or below, but more than Rs 4 lakh
- 25% Tuition Fee waiver Whose Family Have Gross Annual Income Of Rs 6 Lakh or below, but more than Rs 5 lakh

The University extends full waiver of tuition fees to all students belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories

SC/ST/PwD students:

Economically-backward students:

I am not satisfied with the course faculty.

Placements: A minimum of 100 students are involved in my course. The lowest salary is Rs. 5,000. The highest is 35,000 - Rs. 38,000. I don't know about their internship. They don't provide internships and they don't have companies involved in the course. They don't offer roles for the course.

An insight into Ambedkar University, Delhi.

Placements: Placements at AUD are not at all good. We can expect to get decent internships with the help of the placement cell but not a job. Companies recruiting students are not very reputed rather they are the businesses from the Kashmere gate market itself. I once sat for an interview for an internship at a company that supplied car parts.

We have a partition museum in our college that helps us to understand the history.

Placements: Placements of the college had a good record. There was placement percentage of above 95%. Also, placement training was often given to the students. It helped students to keep themselves updated and adapt to the kind of interviews from the placement-perspective. The average placement package was 10 LPA.

Students who are interested in studying at American University, Dubai requires a UAE Student Residence Visa as an entry requirement for the application process. Without this visa, students who are planning study for full-time course at American University, Dubai would not be possible.
