Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra is a public government university, formerly known as DBRA University Agra or Agra University. Agra University is recognised by the UGC and accredited with a 'A+' Grade by the NAAC. DBRA University Agra is affiliated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Medical Council of India (MCI), Distance Education Bureau (DEB) and others. Established in 1927, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra is affiliated with 14 government colleges, 27 aided colleges, and 540 self-financed colleges with an enrolment of 21 million students. DBRA University Agra has four major residential campuses, including Paliwal Park, Swami Vivekanand Campus, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Chalesar Campus, and Sanskriti Bhawan Civil Lines Campus. DBRAU B.E is an undegraduate degree programme in the stream of engineering. It is considered equivalent to a BTech degree. To be eligible to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) programme at DBRAU, candidates must have passed Class 12 with relevant Science subjects. However, the admission is not based on Class 12 merit. It is based on CUET UG or JEE Main scores, followed by UPTAC counselling. DBRA University Agra is one of the top public universities in India. Over the years, many students have graduated from the university and excelled in their respective fields. Agra University is recognised by the UGC and accredited with a “B” Grade by the NAAC. DBRAU Agra is a government university. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra, formerly known as Agra University, was established in 1927. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra is accredited with a B grade by NAAC. DBRAU Agra offers UG, PG, PG diploma and Doctoral level programmes in the fields of Humanities, Science, Technology, Engineering, Management, etc. DBRAU campus is well-equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University has laboratories, classrooms, a library, hostels, and cafeterias, as well as a fully Wi-Fi campus, state-of-the-art auditorium, well-equipped conference hall and seminar hall, and sports complex and labs.
Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra has consistently witnessed good placement numbers. As per the Shiksha verified reviews the 65% to 85% of the students were placed in UG course. The highest package is INR 15-20 LPA, the average package is INR 6-7 LPA and the lowest package is INR 2-3 LPA. The top recruiters included Infosys, Tata Motors, Sonalika, Wipro, Tech, HCL, BHEL, and others. The increased admission intake has not affected the ROI of the university. In 2023, the median package stood at INR 6 LPA, respectively.
DBRAU offers MA as a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. To get admission to the MA course at DBRAU, students need to fulfill eligibility criteria. A candidate scoring a minimum of 45% in graduation is eligible to apply for MA admission at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree can apply for the programme. Candidates scoring less than 45% in graduation can check out other colleges offering online MA courses.

DBRAU placements BTech placement report has not been released yet. However, the university has released the UG four-year data. As per that, the median package offered during UG 3-year and UG 4-year DBRAU placements in 2023 stood at INR 1.8 LPA and INR 3.86 LPA, respectively.
