What is JEECUP?
JEECUP is an annual entrance examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic) to provide admissions into the participating polytechnic institutes of the state. JEECUP 2023 Reservation Criteria
As per the UP Government rules, the candidates belonging to reserve categories are eligible for a seat. These categories are:
1, Vertical Reservations:
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of General Category – 10%
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) - 27%
- Scheduled Castes (SC) - 21%
