DBRAU Agra is a government university. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra, formerly known as Agra University, was established in 1927. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra is accredited with a B grade by NAAC. DBRAU Agra offers UG, PG, PG diploma and Doctoral level programmes in the fields of Humanities, Science, Technology, Engineering, Management, etc. DBRAU campus is well-equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure. Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University has laboratories, classrooms, a library, hostels, and cafeterias, as well as a fully Wi-Fi campus, state-of-the-art auditorium, well-equipped conference hall and seminar hall, and sports complex and labs.

DBRA University Agra is one of the top public universities in India. Over the years, many students have graduated from the university and excelled in their respective fields. Agra University is recognised by the UGC and accredited with a “B” Grade by the NAAC. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra has consistently witnessed good placement numbers. As per the Shiksha verified reviews the  65% to 85% of the students were placed in UG course. The highest package is INR 15-20 LPA, the average package is INR 6-7 LPA and the lowest package is INR 2-3 LPA. The top recruiters included Infosys, Tata Motors, Sonalika, Wipro, Tech, HCL, BHEL, and others. The increased admission intake has not affected the ROI of the university. In 2023, the median package stood at INR 6 LPA, respectively.
