Review of Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya.

Placements: This course particularly is a bachelor course so it doesn't offer any sort of placements but yes we can get internships which are basic level internships. Approximately 5-6 people from our batch which has 62 students were offered internships. To get placement you need to do a master's or a masters course.

Infrastructure: The college offers a hostel but it's usually for people who are from further away states it's not for Madhya Pradesh people. I have heard that the hostel is in quite poor condition by my batchmates. Also, the infra is quite good and it gives 90s London vibes. Especially the library.

Faculty: So we have semester exams and those exams are tough students need to study wholeheartedly during the last weeks of the exams. Some students among us couldn't make it up by the finals as the exams were difficult. Teachers would be willing to help you.

Other: This course is particularly best for people who need to switch to a competitive exam world as geology is a particularly preferable subject in terms of the UPSC examination.

The college is good if you want to pursue science.

Placements: This university doesn't provide placements, and there are very few tech courses. Although they recently added a BTech program, don't expect good placements for a few years. However, in these early years, you can expect a starting salary of around 3-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostels for female students are decent and have three buildings with nearly 400-500 students each. They provide mess, tiffin, water cooler, and gym facilities. The overall environment is a bit strict for females. The boys' hostels don't have mess facilities; instead, they have a private mess near the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty is very experienced, knowledgeable, and good at teaching. The exams are decent, and an average student can easily pass them by studying the night before. However, the courses don't really prepare us for the industry.

Other: campus is not isolated, its a big 1300 open campus. we have different departments such as science and ba and bca also for every subject there?s huge departments. events snd fests are not that common in this university

Awesome infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Our college usually has a dedicated placement cell, which provides training and development for interviews and placements. The percentage of students who were placed in my course or department was 40 percent. Some of the students got internships at several companies that came to our university.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are very satisfying. Well-maintained and modified classrooms and the labs are equipped with all the required resources needed for the experiments. A well-stocked library is also present in this huge area.

Faculty: Our university is well known for its dedicated and experienced teachers who are masters in their respective fields. They use different types of methodologies for teaching. Also, they motivate every student in every situation. The teaching quality is very good. The pass percentage was 65 percent.

Awesome faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has a dedicated placements cell which provides training and development for the interviews and placements. The highest package offered in this course was 6 lacs and the lowest package was 3 lacs and the average package was 4 lacs. About 35 percent of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my department are very satisfying. The classrooms and labs are modified. The campus is very big and clean. A vast collection of books is available in the well stocked library. The hostel rooms are also comfortable.

Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and helpful. They provides both online and offline resources for studies. Along with studies, they even motivate the students for their personality development and social involvement. Our course is curriculum relevant. The semester exams are not difficult.

Campus and facilities are best for affordable prices.

Placements: In my course, about 75 percent of students got placed last year. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Bajaj Finance, and Byjules. About 60 percent of students got internships in Bajaj Finance and Reliance. Top roles are manager and assistant manager.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi signals do not reach every corner of the campus, but they are high in speed. Labs are good and clean, and the library is fully stocked. Hostels are very affordable and have good facilities. The food quality is average and not very good in taste. Medical facilities are not very quick. Sports and games are good and there is a big stadium.

Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful but qualified and very knowledgeable; their teaching qualities are very impressive. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough and difficult; about 40 percent is passing.
