DTU - Delhi Technological University Answered Questions

To get admission in M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence at DTU, the following documents are required:
1. Qualifying degree
2. GATE score card
3. Category certificate
4. Sponsorship certificate (if applicable)

Merit list for the first round of counseling on the basis of CUET (PG)-2025 score for admission to the M.Sc. program will be released on 02-07-2025, 05:00 P.M.
First round of admission at DTU for all branches and freezing seats and preparing waitlist will take place on 08-07-2025 (10:00 am onwards).

Admission criteria for M.Sc. in Biotechnology at DTU:
Eligibility: B.Sc.(Gen/Hons.) with 55% or equivalent CGPA provided by the concerned Institute/ University with Biology as one of the main subjects.
Admission Process: Candidates are advised to register on the CUET (PG) portal and opt for the mentioned subjects.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at DTU East Delhi Campus is as follows:
- The candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in the 12th board examination from a recognised board and must have passed English as a subject in the 12th Board Examination.
- Candidates belonging to the OBC and Defence Personnel categories shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks criterion.
- Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories shall be eligible for a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum marks criterion.
- The reservations of the seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and subcategories Defence/PWD are as per the norms.
- The annual intake of this program is 180+1+1 at USME, with seat reservations as follows:- Delhi Region: 56 GN, 21 SC, 10 ST, 37 OBC, 13 EWS- Outside Delhi Region: 9 GN, 4 SC, 2 ST, 7 OBC, 3 EWS
- The candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria and seat availability for their respective category.

Your SC All  India rank of 31,058, entry into DTU (Delhi region) is unlikely for competitive branches like CSE, IT or SE.In 2024, DTU SC closing ranks ranged around 82,623 for CSE (Delhi quota) and 117,836 (All India).lower demand branches (civil, biotech, PIE, environmental) closed near 100,000-300,000 ranks.Given your rank, you stand a realistic chance in those branches under Delhi quota.

But CSE, IT, SE, MCE are out of reach. Consider accepting civil, biotech or PIE if offered. 

The eligibility criteria for admission to DTU for M.Sc. in Chemistry are:
- Candidates must have a valid score in CUET - PG conducted by NTA.
- They must have passed a 3-year bachelor's degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Chemistry must be one of the subjects in all three years of graduation.
- Final admission will be offered on merit based on the CUET - PG score.
- For SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum score required in the qualifying degree is 50%.
