Galgotias placements and honest review.

Placements: Around 45 percent of students were placed in this course and average salary is 8 Lacs, the lowest is 3 lacs, and the highest is 45 Lacs. Top companies came here to give you job, like Google, Amazon, etc. Companies offer you roles like data management officer, HR, head of department, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostel and college infrastructure is very good and well maintained; we loved it, and we made a lot of memories there. There are a lot of facilities, like free Wi-Fi, mess, good food, canteens, and medical facilities, which are also great, and there are a lot of sports held every year.

Faculty: Faculty are very helpful teachers; they help students and help them to clear their doubts. This course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready for sure. This is a very good college for B.Tech. Semester exams are not very difficult; it is average.

Other: Events and fests were celebrated in Galgotias every year and were full of excitement.

Average college with decent placements.

Placements: The placements totally depend upon you as the students here mostly get placed in non-core companies and if you genuinely want to go into core companies then have to try off campus as well. The college provides few internships which may be paid or free. I did my internship by my own references. I don't know what is the maximum package but the average package is approximately 3-4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel and classrooms are good. Few of the classrooms do have ACs but most of them don't. In case of hostel, you have to choose according to your budget what you want, i.e. AC or non-AC. Food is the major drawback of this hostel. The mess is of Sodexo. Sometimes, the food is average and sometimes, it's pathetic. Hostel and classrooms have Wi-Fi and its speed is also fine. Gym, pool, TV room, badminton court, basketball court, snooker, Haier smart washing machines, etc. are available.

Faculty: Some of the faculty members are really good, knowledgeable and friendly but some come for time pass only. They only do what they are doing. In my case, the faculty was moderate and I think whatever teacher teaches, no one pays attention to it. Everyone studies at the last moment from YouTube.

Review of Galgotias University.

Placements: There are many salary packages starting from Rs.10,000 per month as an intern. Many companies like HVAC visit for internships. Around 5 to 7 students get internships based on their academics and interviews.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with elevators in each building. Smart classes are provided with Wi-Fi. You need to have a university id card to enter the library. Labs are well maintained as well. There are many sports like football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, and many others. Many indoor games are also available like squash, snooker, and chess.

Faculty: Faculty is good and supportive. Teaching is quite good and helps the students whenever we need it. The course is relevant and is knowledge-based. Semester exams are quite easy to score if a study the topics properly. Maintaining a good CGPA is also easy.

It is the best decision to take admission to this university.

Placements: Around 90% of students are placed. The students reach out to the faculty members for their help and get good that they can provide. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. Almost 30% of students get internships in AWS company. Cyber security, blockchain, and artificial intelligence are the upcoming subject. The placements of this university are high. Many good companies come and take the students in mass recruitment.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi network connection is good. The library provides a good book as the academic requirements.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, cooperative, and qualified. They are highly qualified and give the education. The course curriculum is good. There is 3 CAT which is conducted and out of 3, only two are counted. The final exam is out ETE. They help to manage and adjust with the language and subject which are taught in this university.

Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in the coding field.

I am not satisfied with this college, as it has no placements, and the faculty are lazy.

Placements: Only 20% of students got placed in mechanical engineering. The average package offered is 3 LPA. Many companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc., came here. Very few students got internships from college. There is no support for mechanical engineering in placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The buildings are of 5 floors, and there are 3 blocks and a hostel on the campus. But the location is out of the city, 17 kilometers from Parichock. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but it is not working well. The library is good according to the campus. Hostel infrastructure is good, but food quality is very poor. The canteen is good. The sports ground is not available. Only volleyball and basketball grounds are here, and there is no football ground.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, but they are not interested in teaching. The teaching quality is good, but they are only for money, not for the development of students. This course is good, but the faculty and college's aim are different. Students are not ready for industries. Semester exams are not as difficult as we think. If you are studying regularly, then no need to worry about exams.

Other: My course fee was very high, and every year, they are increasing it. But they don't increase the quality of campus and teaching. The college fest is good. Extracurricular activities are good.

The infrastructure is good but the fee charges are very high. It is not valued according to money.

Placements: Mechanical engineering students are placed in software companies like CTS. No placements are provided in core companies. There is no good recruitment team. In the name of education, they are doing fraud and earning money only based on Galgotias College. So I don't recommend joining this college for engineering. This university is only for the rich.

Infrastructure: The building is good and it has a centralised air-conditioning but it is not working. Library is good, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere but it is not working. Hostel fee is more and bad quality food is served in the mess. In the name of sports, they dint have proper ground.

Faculty: Teacher is well qualified but they are not interested in teaching not beacuse of his qualification but beacuse of politics in the university. They don't have proper labs. Students don't ready for industry. Course is good but not a proper strategy they have.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in mechanical engineering. But mechanical engineering is not good at this university. After my admission, I feel this is not a good university for serious and learning students. It is a total fraud. No scholarships are provided for backward students.

It was an enriching course.

Placements: The placement for mechanical and other core subjects is a bit less. But companies visit every year. Most of the students get placement. Mechanical branch students are free to choose the company of their choice.

Infrastructure: Infra is totally perfect. Will give you full vibe of 'Student of The Year'. Best in the market. The decorum is peaceful, the teachers and other staff are disciplined. The food facilities are also perfect for a student. Medical facilities are available all the time.

Faculty: The curriculum is now good but after new education policy things will get better. The availability of various courses. The curriculum is understandable and it is of good quality. Teachers play the dominant role in improving weak students.

Other: I opted this as it is the best in NCR region. The practical aspects needs to be take care of. All the extra-curricular activities occur regularly.

I am satisfied with the studies, but not with the placement support.

Placements: Very few numbers of students get placed by the college. The highest salary package offered was approximately 6 LPA. Top companies were Thermax, Infosys, Wipro, etc. I don't think any student got internships. Everyone was looking for a job. Top roles offered in the course were graduate engineer trainee, design engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not given on the campus but there was Wi-Fi for hostel students in the hostel. Library had a vast variety of books which were more than enough for studies. Classrooms had air-conditioners but that it doesn't work. Facilities given in the hostel are very good. All kinds of facilities were given like a play zone, gym, canteen, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. The teaching quality is very good. Few teachers are not much good. The course had many things covered but I don't think that makes the student industry-ready. Exams were a little bit difficult, sometimes questions come out of the syllabus and teachers didn't teach that part was tough, but proper self-study can make every student pass.
